I'm allergic to peanuts. I don't care for the taste, so being allergic is a wash for me anyway. All kinds.

There are a few exceptions: Pecan Rolls - I love. Banana Nut Bread - could eat the stuff for days. Walnuts seem OK for me to eat in bakery things, but I'd never prefer them plain.

When I was picking my flavors on WL, I was on auto-pilot "yeah that sounds good" and didn't really think about it at the time. I ordered TFA Banana Nut Bread - I kept reading how great it is but now that I have it in my hand, I'm thinking the flavor profile probably has some authentic nut extract injected. I can't taste the "nut" in the actual bread you eat or it probably wouldn't appeal to me at all, but as far as flavors go I imagine this is a different dinosaur.

My palette is pretty suspicious of nutty flavors, but I don't go into cardiac arrest like some others that may be allergic to peanuts. Most of the time the only side effect I experience is a very uncomfortable itchy tongue when I accidentally grab an unidentified peanut sugar cookie someplace or something. I got a slight hint of that using the very delicious Capella Cinnamon Danish Swirl flavor. Didn't even think about it at first. I experienced a VERY slight side effect while vaping it, and the thought didn't cross my mind until a co-worker mentioned that it tasted slightly nutty to him. That explained a lot.

So.. my question: How much nuttiness do you detect in TFA Banana Nut Bread?

I would never dream of steering anyone one way or the other with an allergy involved. Maybe it would be best if you contact the manufacturers and hopefully they can tell you which flavors are free of any form of peanuts. Good luck.

It's mild, but I'll do that. Not sure why I didn't think of that initially. Thanks WallyO
