Long time, no post!
I used to spend hours coming these forums and posting stuff on occasion, way into the wee hours of the night as I researched better and better ways to end my disgusting relationship with cigarettes. Over time I became a Provari + Boge Cartomizer + AVE juice / Halo fanatic, and lost interest in the e-cig world, having found what worked, bought years' worth of gear, and slowly tapered my consumption over time, occasionally switching or half/halfing with Snus.
So after MANY drops on concrete and many scares, it seems I may have completely lost my Provari for good, though I still maintain hope that it'll turn up. I had just come off of a long e-cig hiatus and had stockpiled an insane amount of Snus that was on sale, but I'm bi-polar and almost always crave the constant inhalation of nicotine once I switch into hypomanic/manic mode during the spring and summer months...
I have a nice Trustfire charger at work and one at home that I just can't manage to find; it handles all typical sizes, 14500, 18650, 18500, etc. I do have a dedicated 18650 charger but my only 18650 device is the Provari
I happen to have a couple of flashlight tubes that PERFECTLY fit the 18650 and I'll probably eventually build a poor man's 5V mod if I can't find my precious.
In the meantime, I dug out my first true mod, the MadVapes 3.7V single 14500 unregulated box mod. When I first bought it, I made the brilliant decision to pick up some LR 306 atomizers and Boba's Bounty, and tried all three together for the first time. It was bliss,as I started out a consummate dripper, but with time I switched almost entirely to Boge cartomizers, 2.0 or 3.2 ohm. Didn't really matter much with the adjustable Provari.
I almost vape Boba's Bounty and Gorilla juice exclusively, but dug up a bottle of Brawny Blueberry from AVE that I never gave a fair shake. I used paperclips to get my 14500s to fit in the dedicated 18650 charger (don't try this at home) and charged up a buttload of old batteries. I hooked up a 306 LR and the MadVapes mod and I'm sad to be missing the Provari, but my god this is a good combination. Thanks ECF
