He is understanding to a fault. He could really stand to be tougher with us and I think sometimes we take advantage of that. It's hard though when you work with the owner one on one every day you develop a closer relationship and sometimes, like I did, you treat him like another employee. I went back and apologized for losing my temper and told him that it was in now way his fault and I wasn't mad at him but just mad.

It didn't take me long to get over my little temper tantrum. I took some dayquil this morning and it's making my nose run like Niagra Falls. Not a great time to be at work.

Me too. It was stuffy then I took the dayquil and it switched to runny. I'm gonna stop on the way home to look for a different medicine.

OTD.. well Christmas wasn't the half of it.. they used to have to dress up for Halloween parties at a local pet boutique that promoted my grooming business. They loved the attention, and did get very tolerant of being dressed up (for the short term) and they loved going to the Halloween parties (lots of special dog treats) so I'll post a few of their Halloween pictures just in case they will melt your heart humbug heart? The pet boutique went bankrupt a few years ago and closed... so no more dressing up They are almost 12 and 10 years old now.. so like me, they are just old and grumpy too!

Good morning. My sore throat turned into a sinus/ head cold just in time for bed last night. I didn't sleep well and it's back to work. I must have picked up some germs doing the shopping this weekend. One more reason to shop online.

Sorry to hear you got hit with a cold just in time to go back to work hitt... and that you had so much trouble once you got to work! Nice that you do have such a good boss to work for though.. that helps so much! Hope you feel better soon!

The lack of communication in this family is horrid. Had to email my younger daughter at work. She said the latest news she has is he's still hanging on but declining. Guess it doesn't look good for recovery.

Glad to hear he is still hanging in there Fran.

Off to finish laundry.. back to work tomorrow. Met a co-worker from about 10 years ago for lunch today.... it was a l-o-n-g lunch catching up on 10 years!
