Yikes, hate it when that happens. More common then snow in these parts though.

CES, by the time you get here there will be snow. The freezing rain kicked into high gear and the snow will be right behind it.

I got the new water valve installed but the humidistat is a little flaky. I'll pick up a new one Monday.

Sorry you're having so many problems with the furnace Hitt... but glad the heat part is working.. YOU sure need that right now!

My last dog of the day pulled a no show on me I'm secretly happy about it (loved getting done a bit early for my 5 days off ) but he is going to pay for the missed appt. if he still plans to come to me! A no show for holiday grooming is a horrible sin! We all have waiting lists wanting to get in before Christmas... but hmmm... need to have notice that there is a spot open!

Hitt, the winds are low today so no significant outages or any broken limbs around town.

Mixxy, no idea what kind of tree it is.

Still amazed the roads are in pretty good shape, did have to go hammer the mailbox so the postman could deliver mail.

The tree looks kinda like an Indian crabapple. We have one of those and a regular crabapple tree in our back yard that still have apples on them. The birds usually come in the winter and make a mess eating them up. If there's snow then it looks like someone got murdered with a chainsaw.

though i bet it's beautiful when the sun hits it just right (and hopefully makes it melt really fast)
