Yeah, where's the humbug in that?
Our dog has been getting the shakes and panting a lot. Her appetite has been off and the episodes have become more frequent. It's been going on for about a week. I'm not sure if it's growing pains or what but I called the vet this morning and am taking her in to see him in a little bit.

Trip to Keene cancelled. Hubby went as far as the PO so I could send a couple pkgs and we came home. Slipped and slide coming back up the hill but made it without mishap. The roads are very bad.
I'm back from the vet already. He said she has a tender spot in her back and probably just hurt it. He gave us an anti inflammatory and also some tramadol for pain. He said if it's not better in a week to bring her back for X-rays.
Always feel for an animal in pain, makes me sad cuz they can't tell us just what's goin' on.
She was trying to communicate but we didn't understand. She kept ringing the bell by the back door that we trained her to ring when she needed to go out. Only she didn't want to go out.
It was easy to train her . We just took her paw and hit the bell each time before we took her out. She was doing it on her own after three days.
