This one didn't exactly fail. I was trying to pull up the center pin, accidentally popped it out...and lost it  turns out the coils were in pretty good shape, only lightly carbonized. I only use clear liquids, so coils and cartos usually last pretty well for me. I have an evod carto that I've been running for months that finally needs a head change.

Morning all;

@PTJD - I never liked the flying much. Especially the long overseas flights. TSA / 10 to 15 hours on a plane / Customs / Money Exchange / narrow streets / language barriers / and don't forget the fun stuff, like food poisoning in Mexico / intestinal parasites from Peru / blown out rotator cuff when I slipped & fell on the ice in Moscow, and I once dodged bullets in Mexico City. It wasn't all bad though. I have a lot of pictures of some really nice places. After 48 years, there was more good than bad, and there's lots of stories to tell the grand kids.

@DVap - Sounds like you were really lucky, and it's great to hear that everything turned out well. Don't let anything slide now. Keep up with your scheduled exams, and follow-ups. I really didn't realize how good life is until I almost bit the big one. My big problem now is trying to loose the extra weight from years of bad eating on the road.

@the rest talking 'bout e-cigs & liquid - I'm over 5 years now, and still using unflavored with menthol. Bought 1 liter of 100mg, and mixed to 5 to 1 with VG. It lasted me over 4 years. I just cracked open my second liter for mixing. I've been using these IMR batteries. They say they're more stable than the Lithium's. I love em. I'm stacking 2 - 16350's and running them @ 3.0v with 1.2 ohm clearomizers. Great hit, and long battery life. Also have a couple of EGO's with the built in charging. Good for long trips in the car.

Jim,

I've had the same issues with the road. Since I started traveling a year ago, my eating habits have been abysmal. Not that they were all that good over the past decade.

Just be very careful, epically in Central, and South America. I made the mistake in Peru of eating a Salad. They wash the veggies in the water. 2 weeks of antibiotics to get rid of it. And most street vendors have no clean water to wash anything.

Most US Hotel rooms have Fridge & Microwaves now. I went to a food store, and shopped on extended stays. Better choice, and cheaper.

If you have any questions at all, between myself & PTJD, we can give out a few tips & info.

Is he I'll?

Yes, Hitt, cancer ravaged him!

He is is no pain but is still hooked up to a feeding tube and his breathing is quite labored.

He has the signs of expiring very soon!

I'm just so grateful we were able to see him one more time.

Lost my only brother last year and soon, my cousin who was like a brother to me.

Thanks for all the good wishes guys. I'll just finish the story and be done with it.

After the Surgery, my breastbone (Sternum) didn't heal. Went through a second surgery. It still won't heal. I have titanium plates holding it together, but the plates are moving slightly. The Doc's are signing me off for total disability. May be a blessing in disguise. After working for 48 years, it's probably time to take a break. All will be normal, except I can't lift anything heavy, and have to sleep in a recliner.

Anyhoo, with that said,

It really sucks getting old.

Tough as nails in my book Jim,
oddly the only thing "old" taught me is patience by wisdom or necessity, glad I had the gift of not knowing either for a while(youth).Very inspiring to see you come thru.

Just barely made it alive. According to my son's Zombie web site, I'm now an official Cyborg Zombie.

Damn Jim! I was just kidding about the you still being alive post! Now I'm REALLY glad to hear your still alive!(Even if you are a Zombie now)!! Good lord!

That's some scary stuff. Not sure if anybody else saw his post in the aroma forum but Dvap suffered a heart attack also.
Double Damn!!

Did I have a heart attack? Oh yea, that was about a month ago.

I had some pretty bad chest burning back on 12/3 but the ER couldn't find any of the cardiac markers in my blood. I was admitted to the cardiac floor for observation, and while under observation, the heart attack hit the next morning. 100% proximal LAD blockage, AKA widow-maker. Had I been anywhere else, I probably wouldn't be here today. The doctors had the clot busted and the artery stented in no time. Damage was minimal to none. Two weeks later, I hiked seven miles in the mountains with no discomfort... would have been ten miles but my boot sole delaminated and I had to turn around. Previously, I got winded walking up a flight of stairs.
DVap......Thanks for checking in here! Sounds like you just needed a good cleaning out! Personally,I would just be happy to get out of bed two weeks after what you had done! Sounds like you are doing better!:) Get some new boots!

Oh, so I'm a chronic complainer? I thought I was a chronic enabler. Aren't you overdue to buy some new vaping gear? There's a coop for a Pyrex rsst going on.
If telling us every single thing that is going wrong at work and at home makes you a complainer..........Then yes you are! But I wouldn't have it any other way!

Bad weather heading my way tonight! A foot of snow and below temps to follow! Wife just got back from a 3 hour grocery shopping trip. Going to give her a back rub for that one later!

Catch ya all later!

:)Wiz!

    Somewhere between here and there
Flower, I'm really sorry about your cousin. Watching my wife deal with breast cancer and treatments was the hardest thing I've ever done.

Wiz, the reason I talk about that stuff so much is that I'm a boring person and don't do a lot of other stuff besides work and go home. I do enjoy going to the kids stuff though. My oldest leaves for St. Louis Wednesday for the Missouri state thespian conference. They hold acting and improv workshops all day for a few days. She had a great time last year and is looking forward to it.

A visit like that has given me contentment and some meaning, thanks for putting it out .
