Good to hear you had the opportunity to visit your cousin again.

I see most have checked in since last night so nobody has frozen yet, Good!

Flower, I'm really sorry about your cousin. Watching my wife deal with breast cancer and treatments was the hardest thing I've ever done.

Wiz, the reason I talk about that stuff so much is that I'm a boring person and don't do a lot of other stuff besides work and go home. I do enjoy going to the kids stuff though. My oldest leaves for St. Louis Wednesday for the Missouri state thespian conference. They hold acting and improv workshops all day for a few days. She had a great time last year and is looking forward to it.

Actually Hitt..........I think your pretty exciting! The stuff you do with/for kids alone disqualifies you from being boring! I guess that makes me less boring too. I just know your oldest is going to make it big someday. Hope she has fun.

We had the blue sky's earlier today OTD. Now it's just overcast. Snow is expected to start around midnight and continue through 10pm tommorrow. I go in to work at 7:00am with the expectation of leaving early.

I know about having a somewhat stilted life myself Hitt. I get more excitement on any given day from this forum then most anything else!
But as the Wiz noted above, you do have a lot of choice events going on with the kids and all.

Keep moanin' though, ya do it sooo well (-;

I don't remember if I told you or not but a while back she came to me acting a little scared and said that she thought that she wanted to go to college to study the arts. I told her that I think it's fantastic that she knows what she wants to do and we discussed possible career paths. I also told her that I wanted her to follow her passion and hopefully do something for a living that she truly enjoyed. That's about the most I could hope for my kids.

It was supposed to have already started snowing here but hasn't yet. They seemed pretty sure that we were going to get an inch or two.

We are taking the kids later to return some stuff that didn't fit that they got for Xmas and grab a bite to eat at the outdoor shopping complex. Hopefully the snow holds off for a while. Exciting stuff, huh?

Ya know, if I didn't know any better, I would swear it's going to snow here. It is quite cold and very quiet.....I remember those days up North when there seemed to be such a peace in the air when it was about to snow.

Hitt, i like reading your stories. You and Wiz are great dads.

My life is even more boring than OTD's. Though it was also sunny and 45 here today. Massive cold front coming in here too. We'll be in the teens tomorrow night and all day Monday. With the possibility of a little ice. Single digits are predicted for Tuesday night. It's been a decade since we got that cold. Fran, would you mind sending back some of that warm air i sent you? Just a few degrees, you'll never miss it. It's gonna be cold and miserable where you are anyway

It probably sounds sappy but I want to give my kids the support growing up that I felt like I never got growing up with divorced parents and a step mom that hated me.
