It probably sounds sappy but I want to give my kids the support growing up that I felt like I never got growing up with divorced parents and a step mom that hated me.

This is what I get for going back a reading posts I missed during the day! As if I wasn't depressed enough about the 12-16 inches of snow I am getting at the moment! Hitt, My parents divorced after I turned 20 so it wasn't as bad for me. No step mother/fathers in the picture. How could anyone hate you anyhow??

You turned out pretty good buddy!

Man,it's ugly here. The bad stuff hasn't even begun to drop. Methinks I may be a tad late for work tommorrow,if I get there at all!

He everyone

Been dealing with my daughters dog. He somehow got out of the gate and got hit by a car, his pelvis is broken on both sides. One completely and the other is a major fracture. Nothing they can do but let it heal on it's own. He is actually a very lucky dog and must have had an extra life, he only weighs 7lbs so it's a wonder he made it out alive! He is supposed to be on bed rest for 3 weeks.....LOL.....I asked my daughter if she told the vet how very active he is? We might need drugs to keep him inactive 8-o At least we have a crate we can keep him in.

Woke up to 3" of snow this morning, I didn't even realize it was supposed to snow....LOL

Sorry about your dog Fudgey! Sounds like he will be ok with rest! Not going to feel to bad for you with the 3 inches of snow though!

Finally got the Prime Rib pics posted in the grill.

I recently had to have our dawg on puppy-downers Fudgey. Similar thing, keeping a hyper dog calm for extended period. What a trial that can be!

Wiz, sorry about all the snow. My stepmom was about 15 years younger than my dad and not much older than my brother who is eight years older than me. My sister is seven older. The stepmom didn't like any of us being around . I was around ten or so when they divorced. To be honest I don't remember for sure any more.

Deep inside she liked you Hitt! It was your siblings she hated!(Hope that made you feel better!)

Man......It is just wicked here! Already had to blow the snow twice(done for the night),and help three people who were stuck in the street in thier cars. There is no way I am going into work tommorrow,at least until they plow these side streets. I have a 2007 Trailblazer, but even that won't get through this! Worse snow I have seen here in 5 years! Top that off with the sub zero temps we are expecting the next two days and you have one real bad mess!

I hate doing that Fran,but I may have no choice. I'm sure the main roads here will be drivable,it's the subdivisions. After the city plows the streets everyone can move again.

Yesterday when we were traveling from Sarasota it was brrrrr cold.........of course it's all relative, but when I have to wear my heavy winter jacket over a turtle neck and sweater with corduroy pants in Florida, then ya know the weather is bizarre.

Tuesday and Wednesday the temps are going to be in the low 30's with wind chill in the 20's. We've had a few freezes here in the last few years, but none of them were sustained for very long.

This weather is affecting all of us.......although we have it a bit more comfortable here.

When the blood thins, cold is cold!!!
