I've learned.... That just one person saying to me, "You've made my day!" makes my day.

This one! I don't have a lot of talents but can usually make someone smile or lighten their load for a little bit. I can't number the times I may have had a generally bad day but at the end of it I always remember the person (especially if they're unknown) who smiled or made a nice comment to me out of the blue. That seems to always take precedence over the rest of the day.
