A surprising remedy for vapers Tounge

Taking a shot or two of hard liquor... surprisingly for me this works it must have something to do with the alcohol cleaning out the pours on the taste buds that eventually get coated or clogged from vaping this has worked for me better then anything else ( tounge scrappers, biotene, mouth wash, vinegar etc....)

I'm very serious about this I thought it was a coincidence because I don't drink often but then the same thing happened last night when I drank again. It would probably be nasty but maybe just filling a small glass with vodka and sticking your tounge in it will work even better.

I totally agree Jdbaker. I do find though that for the first few hours I have to repeat it often, like every 10 minutes or so to keep the effect going. That's OK though because after those first a few hours the problem goes away <hic>. ...............

It's funny what works for people to get rid of vapers tongue. The only things that ever worked for me were switching flavors regularly and/or vaping less. A strong menthol in a high power rebuildable comes close to being vapers tongue proof, but chain vape it long enough and it would probably happen to me happen too.

Hey don't knock it till you try it.. next time you can't taste much of your vape give it a whirl... unless of course your a recovered or recovering alcoholic lol

I know this will gross a lot of people out, but I can literally drink vinegar, especially red wine, apple cider, and malt vinegar. I used to make my co-workers sick back during my serving days by betting them if I could chug an entire cruet of vinegar. I could.

On a whim I tried it as a palate cleanser for vaper's tongue and it worked wonderfully.

My mouth is watering. Gonna go take a few shots of vinegar....

(Now orange juice, on the other hand...) ;-)
