During last Sundays LoveToVape auction, it was dedicated to a man who really deserves tributes.
His name is Kerry Keith Decker (KKD1247). He was a very talented man, and a very good friend of mine. He only thought of others and not of himself. He had a very successful cable TV show during the early to mid 80's called "The Night Life", which was a television show about, you guessed it, television.
On YouTube, he had a monthly special called "Kerrys Kitchen", basically showing how to make simple dishes that made you look like a king.
He had a professional photography studio and made esquisite wedding videos.
He was a fellow space enthusiasts and made the only known TV footage of the second launch of the Space Shuttle Columbia using the latest state of the art camera equiptment.
I was to fly down to Florida this September so we could capture the last Space Shuttle mission and put it in a "special" Night Life show. We had the plans down.
But that all ended with a heart attack. My good friend Kerry was gone.
Needless to say, I took the news very hard
YouTube- Goodbye and a tribute to my friend Kerry Decker
But a blubbering crying jagon video was not good enough. Nope, I had to get a tribute made. So I turned to my good YouTube friend KarenEng. And she came through.
She agreed to make this video song tribute for Kerry. Now, if you do not believe in God, don't bother starting the Video, else your eyes will burn out of their sockets.
YouTube- How Great Thou Art - Elvis (Cover) A Tribute video for Kerry Keith Decker (KKD1247)
Kerry Decker, despite his own health problems, always thought of others. What strikes this for me all the more, and my insane desire to get some tribute out for him, was the LAST contact Kerry had with anybody on YouTube before his untimely passing, was a message he sent to me, giving me words of encouragement when I was down. And this message was sent the same day he passed away.
RIP my friend Kerry. Ray Glassner and I will be sure to make that special Night Life show in September. We will see to it.
So, to paraphrase Kerry, This is BigJimW thanking you for your time, this time, until next time, we'll see you soon.
