I was sick of smoking. The smell. The coughing. The damage to my lungs; my teeth. It had to end.
I'd heard about ecigs; someone sent me an ad for a Blu. Thankfully I did not purchase it.
I dove headfirst in to ECF. It was overwhelming, but I picked up the basic vocabulary, and when I ran out of cigs, I went out and overpaid for an ego-t kit. Which sucked, but was enough to get me off smokes

How did I start vaping?
Well, I was a 1-2 PAD smoker for a good 12 years, 8 years ago I went for hypnosis to stop smoking. My hubby had quit cold turkey in 99 and I was trying to do the right thing too. It worked, for 3 years I didn't so much as look at a cigarette. One day I came to the realization that I actually ENJOYED and missed smoking and started again socially (2-3 cigs a week when out with friends). Over the next few years (with the exception of the 10 months during my pregnancy with my son) that had morphed into 4-5 analogs a day. And I STILL enjoyed it. What I did not enjoy was going outside to smoke (I hadn't smoked in my house since I quit the first time and found that a refreshing change) and either freezing to death, getting rained on or just simply having to get myself dressed to smoke. I also HATED the stale smell in my clothes and in my hair...that was THE WORST for me. Not to mention the Incredulous prices that I was paying per pack!! (I had managed to gather enough coupons from M'boro to last a little while but it was still ridicuous.)
I had seen ads for Blu and started looking around online for info. I happened to call a local smoke shop that sold the Elektro and went there to buy a starter kit and some cartomizers. Out of the box I loved this thing and the 2 cartos that came with it (one Regular and one Menthol) were amazing. Then I tried the replacement cartos and it was all downhill. They produced NO vapor or taste at all. Fortunately I got in touch with Elektro directly and they refunded my money in FULL. So now I had No ecig and refused to go back to analogs so I went to 7-11 and bought the N-Joy to get by until I could do some more research. (not worth the $ IMO but it served its purpose)
I went to work and found ECF and the newb videos done by Mistress Nomad and placed my order for a Joye 510 and some juice and cartos. I have since moved to an ego with LR510 atty for dripping as well as LR510 cartos. I tried the Ego-T and didn't really feel it, no issues other than I really lost the flavor of the juice (I am thinking about trying the 306's next as I have heard good things) but I LOVE my ego.

I used chantix to quit smoking, but at 6 weeks in, I suddenly hit a rough patch & was going to lose my quit! A friend who had recently quit gave me some leftover nicotrol inhalers...that saved my quit, I used those things for 3 years..never moved w/o them in my hand or pocket. A GF tried an e-cig & let me taste hers..Ohhh Myyy Goosshhhh, all the bells & whistles went off in my head, THAT was what I was missing! I have been vaping a bit over a year now.
I heard about ecigs from my mom. I told her Id do some reading on the net. I found ecf and from the info I got here, I got a riva from a well known supplier and quit the day I got my kit. Now Im taking a big hit of vapor with a homemade 5v with 3.0 carto with some tasty mango juice. Im loving it way more than I ever loved smoking analogue. Cigs never hit this hard or tasted this good. Not only do I have something better to smoke, I feel better, look better, work harder, run faster, and hike more miles than ever. I could go on and on. One thing is for sure I could kiss the guy who came up with the ecig and then kiss the guys and girls who made them better. Thats coming from a straight redneck.

Myself I got into vaping because I wanted to save some money, Bought 1 510 kit for my wife and I to share, it was ok but didnt do anything for me because I still needed to smoke. It wasnt until I found ECF and 36mg nic I was able to kick the nasties. I've been smoke free for close to a year and I can say I will never pick up a pack again.

Well, here's what got me into vaping. I've been an avid hookah smoker for about 7 years. Well, recently ,fiancé was getting upset because the hookah was damaging our hardwood floors, so he banned it from The house. So i needed to find another way to get my fix, so I bought on of the cheesy xhales, I think it's a 302? the ones that say the tiny little carts will last 100 puffs? Yea right. So I upgraded to a reg 510, then a riva, and now I'm looking at gogos and mods lol. And I've only been vaping for about a month. Anyways, it helps me get my fix, as well as I feel better. I'm always one to get really sick, and I think the hookah might have been causing it, or at least aggravating it. I've been feeling kore energetic, happier, and just all around better. Plus no more singe marks in the floor from coals popping so I'm happily converted lol.
Oh yea, plus the hookah was starting to have a negative effect on my singing voice, and as candy has seen, I need to keep my pretty little voice intact. Right candy? Lol
