That's great! I might get there someday and the thought of quiting all together didn't even enter my mind until a few weeks ago! I'm starting to see, OMG it's possible I will give them up all together maybe even sometime soon.

You're doing a lot better than me, on my best days I only have 1 cig, had several drinking on some weekend days, I'm in a short relapse for now waiting on a new PV.

I've seen the difference in my breathing going from a pack to one cig in a day and then most of the times when I do have a real cig I think to myself why the heck did you do that?

I'm doing a lot better than I thought I would, and I think a lot of it has to do with the freedom vaping gives me. I'd never smoke in the trailer or in the car because of the kids. I'd avoid long drives because I hate not being able to smoke while I drive after doing it for so long. Not to mention, it's pretty damn embarrassing that my 2.5 year old knows what a cigarette is. Now she thinks my mistic is a toy cigarette, but I've been telling her the spinner is my vape. She calls it "Mommy's Tape." I figured that was pretty accurate because I plan to "stick" with it and not give up this time. The last cig I smoked, I wasn't even inhaling it. I was holding the smoke in my mouth like vapor. And it tastes like... well, like a disgusting combination of ashtray and booty. I've tried quitting at least once or twice a year for the last 5 years or so. This time, I've found something that actually helps. Keeping my fingers crossed. I gotta say, knowing all those flavors are out there is pretty darn appealing. Why go back to Marlboros when I can have Mocha Java Drizzle in the morning and Butterscotch at night? Heck, it might even keep me away from all the sweets! :D

Nice! Another great experience for us newbies. It might take a while to find the perfect juice for you so stay hang in there. Also, i see in another post as we are new to quit and vape, it might take a while for our tongue senses to come back so flavours will taste weird or even muted sometimes. It is said brushing teeth can solve this.

I've already noticed the flavors coming back, except this one quarter-sized spot toward the front of my tongue. Everything tastes like old pennies. I'm wondering if it's from using the mistic/menthol combination because the sensation is the strongest when I vape. It's almost like I burned my tongue with hot penny soup, if that makes sense?

Just think in 3 weeks you'll be able to say .. a Whole MONTH.
I can't remember how many times I've tried to quit, but I'm pretty sure that there were very few times where I was at 5wks and haven't even thought about a cigarette.

I can't wait for the next 20 days to go by so I can say A Whole MONTH! Not just because that's an awesome milestone, but because my honey's going to celebrate that milestone by buying me a ProVari!!! *Sigh* Aren't I a lucky one? :D And I have a feeling he's going to want to steal the ProVari after I get it so, I'm getting a purple one. LOL! Now I'm on Day 12 Stinky Free and I feel AMAZING. Figured out the weird tongue thing... It was the mistic menthol combined with the 18mg nic level. Once I popped some 12mg Butterscotch Blast Bacco in the Nova, the weird feeling went away after about an hour vaping it. I did try one of my new Vape Dudes juices, the Buttery Nipple, after I'd cut it from 24mg to 18mg. Needs to steep a bit. Got the weird tingly tongue thing with it. So I'm going to let it sit and try it again after I've run through my Caramel and Berry Blue. If it's still giving me the tingly burn, I'll cut it a bit more. All in all, things are going great. My fiance told me he's really proud of me for sticking to it and that he's happy to buy me the ProVari to celebrate One Month, because he knows I'm not going back to analogs and he thinks it's a great investment.

His current job is also wrapping up pretty soon, which means he'll take a few weeks off before going on to the next one. We're going to use that time to get him squared away with a good set up and really give him the chance to try out different juice flavors. I refilled a carto with mocha java drizzle for him yesterday. Unfortunately, the sweet dessert coffee flavor made him want an analog. Oh well, lesson learned. Since I started vaping and got him a mistic (which he actually kind of likes - gross), he's gone from one pack a day, to half a pack a day, to about 5 or 6 a day... good progress. It was all his idea to quit smoking and HE's the one being slow about it. Hahahaha... Irony. Hoping to get him off the stinkies soon. Got my toddler in on the action. Every time he goes to smoke, she'll run up to him and tell him "No, Daddy! That yucky! Stop stinky!"

Thanks again, EFC! If it weren't for all of you, I wouldn't know there was something much better out there than a pack of stinkies or cheap cig-alike. Happy vaping, everyone!!! :vapor:

Hi everyone, I just wanted to give a update on my progress, Ive been vaping for 7 day's and went from 2 packs of analog's to 1 pack a day, but last night lost vaper in the volt x2 passthrough battery so I charged it for 5 hours and no vaper clouds, so I left it on the charger for over night, this morning got 1 good vape and then died again, so it's not holding a charge, so I placed another order for a new battery this morning and wont recieve it till next friday. Im so heartbroken right now and miss vaping. I hope to rejoin you next week. Keep on with the great success everyone. Niane

Great job to you all :) After you quit and vape for a bit it's always nice to look back and see that you quit the old smoking habit, and how easy the transition was. I tried the patch a few times, and that was always a pita. It's amazing how many 20+ yr smokers who were able to quit relatively easily with vaping. I'm hoping to covert more people up at the ski hill this winter. I've already coverted 2 friends, and now on to the employees :p

Agreed. I'm currently vaping an 18mg 75/25 coffee flavor that's actually fairly close in flavor to an analog. Kinda weird but now I know I have something that will hit the spot when a craving roars (which has been happening all afternoon thanks to the Terrible Twos). I've tried the patches, gums, and even a nicotine inhalor, but nothing worked til vaping. Going to let my sis try my set up Sunday evening. :D Hopefully, she'll like it too.
