Hi everybody!
Your friendly (but wild) neighbourhood llama needs help deciding his new mod.
Also side question at the end.

So, i've been wanting to upgrade my box mod, but i cant decide which one to get.
I narrowed my decicion to few mods:
-Wismec ravage 230 (i like the size)
-vaporesso Polar/Revenger x
-Smoant charon mini

If you have any experiences with these it would be much appreciated if you'd share :)

Also, feel free to suggest something else if you think it would suit me better, here is what it needs to be/have
-Dual 18650
-Smaller the better
-I dont care for tc, though good to have since llamas have mood swings
-I vape at 30-70W

Also any beginner friendly rta's there?
I got my eye on kaees solomon 2.
I've hear rda's are more easier to start with but i cant deal with dripping, im at work alot so its not convenient (convinient?) for me, squonking is a think obviously but its a no go from me.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, have a great day :)

I really like this setup. Asmodus Minikin 2 and Wotofo Serpent SMM. The RTA is really easy to build and wick and never leaks. It is a single coil. It is my first RTA but I have been building RDAs for years.

Edit: The Serpent is perfect for that power range.

I heard very good things about the Wismec Ravage 230, with special attention to having improved their built quality of the 510 adapter which seemed to have been the only problem with its predecessor, the Predator 228.

While my Engine Nano RTA is still in the mail, I'm already ogling the Digiflavor Themis Mesh RTA. Despite his name, you'll see that the deck supports mesh and single coil builds, while its sister model, the Themis RTA, supports single and dual coil builds.

You can sometimes find a good sale on them. Igot mine for $49.99. The Rta was suggested to me as a good one to learn on.and it is. It"s easy to build and wick. I use it between 40 and 60 watts. I do TC @ 75W/430°

I have never used Peak Vapor but they have them for $49.99. @Letitia have you ordered from this place before?

Edit: it appears their website is being updated and online ordering is disabled.
No, haven't heard of them. I think Vapor Range has their Asmodus products on sale and they have an excellent reputation. The Minikin 1.5 and Reborn are priced to sell there.

Eightvape has them for $10 more. I still want one of the black/white ones

I saw that thread when it was starting. It has really come a long way!

Took flippin ages !.

Taken a break to build the "Atomizers A - Z, and still compiling it. But having the same problems with vendors poorly describing their stock. D'you know sometimes it can take about 15 minutes for me to find the required details for a piece of hardware, whether it's a Mod or an Atomizer. Sketchy descriptions mean having to google, but sometimes i can't find what i'm looking for so i just have to insert the device's brand, name , and that's it. Like if i come across a tank Atomizer which is described as a "sub ohm tank", i'll still have to dig deeper to find out if it is an RBTA. Though sometimes i can't find the information so i have to just leave it at that. Now you'd think that a sub ohm tank would accommodate a rebuildable deck, in addition to the drop in coils it comes with. Some do, but i'm finding that most don't. I don't like that. Can't speak for anyone else but a tank that only takes drop in coils is just a piece of worthless crap really,. D'you think the makers believe that users are going to continuously keep forking out for drop in coils forever just because their products don't include a build deck. No !, eventually those users will go and find a tank that does.

I'm learning a lot researching Atomizers. Hell of a lot of sub ohm tanks, hell of a lot !. Not enough RTA's though. Not by comparison anyway !.
