A worldwide May Day/Labor Day protest anyone?

It appears to me that the best way to hurt big business interests is to hit them where it hurts. In the pocket.
I'd just LOVE to see such a protest happen, right across the globe, to show the fascists that think they can run our lives that we just will not accept it.
I'm not talking about marching on congress, more like keeping our hands in our pockets and not spending so much as a dime on material goods on that holiday weekend.
Appropriately, May Day falls right before the MHRA deadline for public consultation on MLX364.
Thoughts? We need a coordinated effort to stop the ....... children of big business interests from killing us slowly.

"Londinium, Brittania" - nice! So I'm all about helping UK vapers with this MHRA nonesense, but I'm a little confused about what exactly you're proposing we protest about...and how not buying any commodities for a day makes a statement? I surely won't be buying any cigarettes or NRT's that day, so I suppose I'm doing my small part in hurting the BT and BP bottom lines. Not at all trying to knock you here, I just woke up so my brain is working slow and I might be missing something.

The fact of the matter is that it is big business that is driving this thing against e-cigs. It's one big agenda for profit gain. In the UK, May Day protests are based around the premise of a kind of anti-capitalism movement. I'm not sure if you do the same in the states.
I saw the UK petition, and noted signatories from UK, US, Germany, Denmark, Portugal, and even Ecuador. I got the idea from seeing the feeling of worldwide loss on this issue. Pharma, tobacco, white goods, it's all the same to me. None of them have an ethic that can be respected.

Thanks for clarifying! I wasn't sure whether to sign the UK petition since I'm not a UK citizen...I'd think that might reduce legitimacy. Thoughts?

I'm not so sure about anti-capitalist protests and such on May 1 here. May Day sentiment seems to vary by region though some early settlers did celebrate. Our labor day is in September. Anyway, fight the good fight and happy vaping!

Oh, right. I read Labour Day - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia and just assumed it was May 1

It won't happen in the states. That is party time. Outdoor cookouts, beer and such.

OK, just an idea. But May 1 is still relevant as an idea for a protest. Just an idea :)
