I thought some of you might like to see how to make a simple cheap mod that will run safe and on low voltage batteries Harbor freight AA have some really good power with the Chicago Electric ,rechargeable Nickel Metal Hydride 2200mah AA . I used a radio shack 4AA ,project box for the housing.I only had to loose one slot for a battery where I install a rca connector and a cheap switch and a pink led light since this build is for my girl . I used a burnt-out Wicked e-liquid Atomizer .Striped it and rewired it with a new coil one that had a lower resistance of 2.1 ohms at 3.6 volts . So it would rock when vaped. That was the hardest part of the build but if you go to the atomizer moding section of the forum look for Vaporers thread on" Making an Atomizer Coil 101+ do some home work you to can mod rebuild and create you own attys that will work and do the job you want hope you enjoy the mod Total cost including batts less than ten bucks . Thanks to Vaporers Hard work and sharing with everyone there is no reason why you can't custom build your own really cheap sweet Vp.

Hi
Thanks for asking. I did load test the unit seems the batteries charge up to around 1.4 volts not the 1.2 they say gives around 4.18 volt before load is applied .During load the volts drop to 3.40 volts and hold .I recalulated it with load still looks good on paper,.voltage 3.4 /current amps 1.78 /resistance ohms 1.9 /power 6.08 watts Wish my cam was working I would video it to show how good it vapes .

(Ohm for ohm how well do your home-made atties vape/last? Have you been experimenting with different configurations? )
Willy B They seem to vape great I'm able to adjust them to the mod I've made and not adjust the mod to the factory atties . I've been making my own for around six months and I still have some of my first ones running strong . Kind of a pain learning how to rebuild, adjust ohm draw and mod you really have to want a special atty to go to the trouble considering their cheap to buy new. But some of the ones I've built you just couldn't buy one that would work in the mods I made . I have a flow threw mod that washes the atty every time you pump the juice in it and then the excess juice goes back in the holding bottle . So it had to have an atty that would allow excess juice go by without flooding it . That ones going on six months old and vapes just as good as the day I made it .Learning to build your own can payoff in the long run I think.
