Sigh,

Zen, you do discredit to your name. Unfortunately, I'd get reprimanded if I told you what I should. If you want to talk to me, I'm in the chat room right now.

I'm not running, I'm admitting my mistake. I fell too far away from the middle, which is usually the best place to be.

I don't need to run anywhere. I think I made my point, though badly. I think Pillbox is going to try to get someone to pay attention to this forum, and that, to me, is good customer service.

Why would you have any expectation that your realization that you handled things badly would have people instantly forgive you for being out of line?

I personally think that had you been able to rally support this would have gone in an entirely different direction!

I've done no discredit to my screen name. I see what I see. If I saw actual contrition, I would have commented otherwise.

DEEP IN THE HEART OF TEXAS!
the person who wrote in reference to eBay, "gets it"....on eBay, sellers have positive and negative feedback available for viewing, and that's a big factor on who i decide to do business with. that's why it is alarming and sends red flags to me, when a supplier deletes threads just because of negative feedback.

LoL. I love it when people talk smack then turn tail and run. It's like I don't even have to make my point. They already made it for me.

Zen (and I really loathe addressing you by that name), define 'harassment'. You have the option to ignore my PMs, and you also have the option of ceasing to comment on my posts. If you choose, however, to continue to comment on my posts, then I will continue to call you out to debate your point. This isn't a personal thing for me, it's just my love of the civilized argument.

A Couple of issues to address here.

Re the analogy to Ebay and its feedback system. A little background on myself i started selling on EBay many years ago, when i left i was a Titanium power seller with nearly 100% positive feedback.

The ebay feedback system works like this, or did, only customers who have made a purchase can leave their feedback on the sellers page..Linked directly by item number to the goods they had just purchased.

What does this mean??

It means the seller can be recognised for the good or bad service they provided on only the transaction in question..

This is not what has happened here, what has happened here would be impossible on Ebay!

IE none buyers casting unfounded opinions around on a seller, based on nothing other than hearsay and other possible motives.

Why would a none buyer on Ebay want to check Feedback out?

Because they might want to find out who they are dealing with, the quality of the sellers goods, speed of delivery ETC.

But this assessement would not be made from None Factual opinions from people like Rosco or samsmum, but from real customers, who had used that sellers services..

Therefore ebays feedback system is not an effective analogy in relation to this or other threads on ecf from none TW customers.

The Ebay argument holds no water.

We most certainly do ban posters who advertise other companies, post partner codes, add Videos linked to other sites etc.. it matters not if the poster has 1 or 100000 posts.. its a rule.

We are Rosco a company based forum, we are not ECF.. It is a source of information for my current and potential customers on TW goods and services.

Now on rules>>You are a serving soldier, is this correct?

If so you know full well that rules are made to keep order, if broken in the services (RN i know it was time to see the Captain) the person is reprimanded.

My forum has rules, when you sign on as a TW Forum Member you accept these rules.. You might not like them but thats how the place is run, Persistent breaking of the rules like the above named user will result in a ban..It did and he got banned.

This is what they do best. I'm sure pb38 knows what's going on there. It's not only newbies getting banned, just ask capt12b, who had almost 5,000 posts. Banned.

Actually no, you are very wrong. Lodzin had a very valid point but just went about it in the wrong way - a tad OTT (sorry Lodzin no offence meant)

I have a lot of respect for Jason (Pillbox) but as he well knows, I would sometimes like to shake him!:| I think he is a brilliant business man in most ways but can be his own worst enemy.

I bought my very first e-cig from Pillbox via ebay in July 2008. Since then & for the last 2 & a half years I have via, initially my eBay e-cig group, dozens of threads on the eBay community forum & in the last 14 months via my proboard forum, sent many customers TW's way.

However, I was one of the folks that posted on a thread in TW's forum about the Yo-Yo sale ending early - not because of being greedy - far from it. I & others had been trying to help a newbie get a good price for starter kits for himself & his wife. So we had advised him to hang on for a while as the sale still (supposedly) had a couple of days to go. Since reading Jason's reasons for ending the sale early, I can understand why he did so. However, because I got accused of self promoting (a help forum?) the lovely newbie joined TW's forum & posted to defend me. His post got instantly deleted & he was banned .

Link to thread where at the end of page 5 I initially just asked if there was anything that could be done to help a newbie : -

Totally Wickeds: Christmas yo-yo Promo.

As you can imagine, that newbie will now sadly never have anything to do with TW again :(

See Chrissie, now you better understand why your newbie friend was banned, as well as the many others. Thanks for the explanation Jason, it really clears everything up for us.

I beg your pardon Pillbox - I HAVE ordered from TW. Twice in the Yo Yo sale. I tried to order several more times and my cart was dumped, and no, not thousands of dollars- less than $100 both times. I sent an email to your CS and NEVER even so much as got a response, and I never saw your reason for ending the sale early - I guess I missed that post?

I received the items I WAS able to order and have no problem with that - I am just dissapointed at no email response and no explanation of the sale ending early, and now this fiasco here on ECF - I have better fish to fry without your insults!
