Hi guys, I am once more in need of help.
I plan on switching from a mech mod to a variable mod. I'm thinking of buying an eVic VTC mini 60w mod next week and since this would be my first time to use a variable, I'm totally lost as to what wattage is best used on a specific resistance.

On my mech mod that runs on 2pcs 18650 battery, my favorite ohms is at 0.50 dual coil on a velocity rda.

if I where to use the same 0.50 ohms dual coil build on an eVic VTC mini 60w which only runs on a single battery, what would be the recommended WATTS and temperature?

Would there be any guideline chart for the watts to ohms compatibility?

Looking forward to your advice and suggestions. Thank you.

With regulated mods, the usual advice is, start low and work your way up to whatever seems right to you for a great vape. I'm sure you'll likely end up around 30w at the *very least*, but it wouldn't hurt anything to start much lower, maybe about 10-15w, and just turn it up till it feels right to you.

One thing -- with 60w at your disposal, it really isn't necessary to use such low resistance to get the kind of warm vape you're used to -- if you build closer to 1 ohm, you'll get better battery life, and since it's regulated, you can just turn up the wattage to get the warmth you want.

What wattage is best depends on the build and your preferences. As Andria said, start low and make your way up until you reach your sweet spot. Btw, from the 2.0 firmware update and onwards the vtc mini is capable of 75w.

As for temperature, you need temperature control capable coils - e.g. Nickel (not nichrome), stainless steel,v or titanium - to use temperature control.
