I have become a 100% drip guy. I dont like the taste from carts with either poly, or fluval at all. I like carts even less, I havent tried many just because the ones I have, to me taste terrible to me. So anyway I have been seeing several tank mods made from the ce2 type cart and was wanted some input as to how the taste compares to direct dripping. Thanks

Drewk,
I too don't like the filler, so I went to dripping but, I still got that dry burnt taste when the coil went dry. After the Genisis thread I began to play with bumping up a syringe mod with a tank. a short time after i posted the pics others made a few too (IT'S just a BIG syringe mod). the most well known one is the MAP tank. The CE2s are still somewhat hit and miss, you may still get one that tastes funky. But a good one with a 5ml tank just can't be beat. With my "Gummy" tank I just cut 2 slots in the lower end of the stock ce2 So the juice can get to the wick and then insert the tank around it. If I get a funky one I just toss them out. But they can be saved with a pocket torch. The MAP tank would work good for this because the ce2's tube has to be removed, so you can clean the wick with the pocket torch before you put it into the tank. I like the 3 oHms at 4.5v.

Build yourself one I'm sure you will like it. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...t-3-tank-mod-youll-see-today.html#post2775160
