So, I'm moving up to the MECHANICAL mods :D
The Sigeleis look so cool and they're affordable! Honestly, they all look great, so I might pick up 2 models. I narrowed my choices down to the 20, 8w, and 19e/19b. I just saw pictures of the Bagua, put it was about 10$ more, so don't know if it's worth it. I was also thinking about the Zmax, but it doesn't look as cool :)

Which one do you guys prefer?

The Zmax ain't a mech mod... it's a VW, and more money that all the tube mech Sigeleis you're looking at by $40.

I'm not a long time mech mod user, but the coolest low buck mech ever - IMO - is the one with the magnetic button, the Smoktech Magneto. Unless you're talking about the 8W, you can buy 2-3 sigelei econo-clones for the price of one Magneto though. If you wait a month, I'd bet Sigelei has a magnetic, bottom button mod for under $25.

Stay away from the 20... really bad button design... Stay away from the 19 unless you get it without the magnets it is another bad button design..

The 8W also has a bad button design but it does not effect performance like the others.. the 8W button is just stiff as hell... I got one today and I can't believe how much better the button is on my k100. They say that it breaks in over time I guess I'll find out.

If your going for a Sigelei, I'd recommend a 13...

pdxtechdoctor, I did see the bad reviews on the previous versions of the 20 and 19. However, I noticed that the newer reviews that came out the last few months said the button problems were fixed. This is why I considered these models also. But now that you put the 13 back in my lineup, I have 1 more to think about AHHHHHH!!!

I might have to take your offer up on that $40 Magneto :)

If you want the best mech mod. Think about this you can buy the latest greatest the next few times they come up. Search the forum to find the tweaks you must preform to make them work properly. And spend all that money and still just have a mech mod. Or you could check out the Reosmods forum. Lurk around a week and see how helpful the folks there are and take note of the owner of the company and maker of the mods actually on the forum. See what it would be like to have a one handed dripper. Know that whatever problem you have can be answered by many folks on that forum or the owner will make it right if it's a fault of his. (you'll never get that elsewhere) I suggest getting a Reo Grand with a RM2.0 RBA this topper was designed to fit this mod and work perfect. If by some odd circumstance you don't like the mod you can sell it in the classy's for very near what you paid for it. The only thing you'll have to think about then is which other Reo you want. Maybe you can buy several mechs for the price of a Reo with a RM2.0 but all of these mechs will die before the Reo

You probably won't end up with just one anyway, but for starters...
#23 or #24 if you want a side button, (the #23 you can mount it high or low) or...

you can get a #19 with a magnet (misfires occasionally) or a no magnet, no glue switch,(just got the switch from Vaportek yesterday $10) or...

A #8 Caravella (brass end caps, polished tube)

I've got these, and you would be happy with any of them. In 18350 form, they're a nice handy size.

Any of these are going to run you around $30, I've seen Magnetos going for $40 lately (check ........) It might be worth the extra $10 A lot of people around here seem to think so. (I might have to find out for myself)

A couple of things you should know about the batts; get GOOD ones, AW, e-fest, (18350's) if you're going 18650, there are lots more choices. They're plenty of opinions around here by people who know more than myself. Also get a good charger (check other threads)
I'm still a newbie when it comes to mechs, so I change batts more often than I should (get extra batts)

RTD has AWs for around $7-8 and efest for about a buck less (18350), super fast service. You should check them out.

One last thing, I've found they don't hit as well if you go over 2 ohms with the atty.

Do you guys think I should just buy the kit? It comes with the charger and 2 batteries. However, I'm not sure of the battery quality so I was thinking of buying everything separate. I can probably save at least $10 if I buy the kit though.
What kit are you referring to?

Personally, I'd order a Magneto from Triangle... and perhaps the Sigelei Kick. Remember, this is a no logo version... and will not be shipped until around Aug 25th.
As to batts and charger... as has been stated, don't skimp. I don't claim to be a battery or charger expert by any stretch of the imagination, so I suggest you read up. Here's a good place to start.
