My money situation is complicated, but for now, I can say that I can't really afford to buy anything, including gas or food... @_@;; I have a couple of cartons of analogs in my house and I can just smoke those until the money situation is figured out. Even when the money situation is figured out, I don't know if I can buy any more PV related items in the near future.

I'm really sorry to hear about that. I think that this recession is hard for a lot of people right now. It's hard to buy anything without it effecting one thing or another. Can totally see why you are willing to smoke those couple of cartons that you have in your house right now.

Since, I THINK that's the reason why they were there in the first place. To serve as your backup. But, look at it like this. You've already spent a good amount of money that you have on vaping equipment as is. It's probably best to find a solution to some of the problems that your having right now. So, you can make everything last a lot longer. Also, it'll be HIGHLY beneficial to your health. What would happen if the cigs caught up to you? It would cost a lot in terms of medical bills.

I started out with an ego-t type B and have a lot of experience with solving some of the issues with it. It's actually what got me to stop smoking. Just takes a little bit of fiddling to keep them working right.

What is the problems that your currently having right now? What is the PG/VG % of the juice you bought? I just need a little more information on the exact problems your having right now to make it easier for you to use them to hold you until your money situation gets better.

krnxguhg33, I also wanted to mention that everyone here is willing to help and support you right now. If you look, there's a total of 14 people here right now. The ECF is more then just people telling others what to buy to get a good vape.

It's a support system that allows all of us to continue to live healthier so that we stay off of cigarettes. Also, if you need any help then I'm willing to send some cartos your way with some juice. I'm sure others are willing to do so as well. Just let me know what you would want to try.

I have XL, clear, and short DCC, 1.7 resurrectors, boge's, Ego Mega Dual Coils, etc.

EDIT: I'm also able to offer a Madvapes VV box mod.

Thanks for the support. Right now I really like my juice and my battery I can live with. The juice is an 80/20 blend, WTA, menthol and I have A LOT of it (Had the foresight to know that I would need juice, a lot of juice :]). When my equipment decides to work, I love the throat hit and the flavor I get with the juice. It's just the damn atomizer/container component that is making me so angry.

Right now, the atomizer components I have are:
1 box of CE3s (5 CE3s and in my experience probably find two that work)
3 regular atomizers (Don't know the Ohms)
2 boxes of CE2s (I hate them and would not use them ever again and will PIF it to someone who wants them once I have the money to ship them)
2 dual coil atomizers (Haven't gotten around to using them but dripping isn't really an option right now)

I can certainly understand your struggle and though I can't give you advice, maybe I can offer some encouragement. First, don't beat yourself up about it; as someone has posted on another thread here, every cigarette you DIDN'T smoke is a "win"! I haven't been able to make a single day without tobacco - yet - but I just keep thinking of all those little victories I've won every day since I started vaping. Those many "wins" are so much greater than my defeats so I'm not about to give up hope. Today (well, Thursday) I psyched myself up for my 1st tobacco-free day but I failed... smoked 3 cigarettes & a couple of pipes full. Still though I have to look at that as a victory because a couple months ago I was smoking a pack & a half every day for many years.

Another big thing to me is, now I have a real choice. When I want to smoke I don't just automatically light a cig, I think: do I want a cigarette, or a vape, or (sometimes) a pipe, or do I just want to wait awhile? I've had some issues with my equipment & juices today and at the moment I'm out of cigarettes (deliberately) so my choices are limited, but I'm a little more in control that I was for nearly half a century. I don't know about anyone else but I'm claiming that a victory!

So, will I be smoke-free tomorrow? I have no idea, but either way I'm okay with it. Oh, I hate to spend money buying another pack of analogs, but there are worse things that could happen. Mainly though, I don't intend to give up, and I hope you won't either. Let's both keep our options open and our hope alive, and let's keep believing that better days lie ahead!

Blessings from my cave :vapor:

I had very similar problems and washvap helped me with few advices, for me dripping is option and this works perfectly. But I had very similar results with smoktech dc tank systems (i bought from vaperite with few spares and i ordered 10 blank dc cartomizers from greenhouse).
I spend a lot of money for starting with vaping, but now i'm sure that i made right decision.
I had to learn what juice, what hardware.
For leaking juice is very important, i don't fill big difference in throat hit between 50/50 and 70/30, and 50/50 is much ticker and it will not leak in tank/cartomizer systems. Juice is maybe even more important then anything else. Cheap china juices will work with everything, but best juices which i tried are not compatible with all cartos and atomizers. ALso you must find how much nicotine is best for you (more nicotine = less puffs, if you want to use it all the time then you must use juice with less nicotine).
At the end it will be even cheaper then analogs, and in my country pack of analogs is 1.20$.
And i smoked 50 analogs per day. Believe me I wanted to trow my e-cig thru the window in one moment, now i'm glad because i did not.

I can certainly understand your situation. I am semi-retired (or unemployed if you prefer) and have to scape to get my supplies, but I would send you a carto or two if you need them. If filled properly and topped off before they get dry you should get 2-3 weeks out of them. The only ones that didn't last that long for me were clear ones, but sitting on them may have effected that. :).
I see that washvap is helping out, :toast: can probably do more than I can, so you should be good. But let me know if there's anything I can do, and I'll be here for support.

What CE2's did you use. Not interested in buying them from you, but am interested in what it is you hate about them.

I'm vaping one of these for the past 3 weeks at 4.5v 60/40PG juice. Wife the same with 100%PG. It is absolutely the closest thing to dripping I have found. Cleanable, can change juices between cleanings, easier than a filler carto to fill, and last forever. These do not leak or crack. GotVapes VISION EXTREME MINI 2.5ml 510 Carto 2.8ohm 1 Piece [gv-visionEXTREMEMINI-2.5ml-2.6] - $5.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

And I can use any juice I want. Dark chocolates? No problem. Same DIY juice clogs a boge carto in hours.

The key to getting these to wick perfectly is to insure that when the PV is tilted to near horizontal to vape, that the one side of the wick cup slot is immersed in juice. I hit my PV with the button either top of bottom, so I screw the CE2 on so that the cup wick slots are aligned with the fire button.

Once again, thanks for being so supportive everyone... :]

@Big Screen D: I'm using CE2 clearomizers from TW. The reason why I hate them is the first one I used cracked on me as SOON as I filled it, the second one had a terrible plastic taste I couldn't get rid of, the third one I used has deadens the taste of a liquid that I KNOW to be REALLY strong. I'm done with using them and only got them because they were on 40% sale during the yoyo sale.

I found myself frustated too, that was before I get my provari. CE2 cartomizer and other something-mizer are sucks IMHO, and those tank-atties too. Standard BOGE cartos are ridiculously low on vapor production and flavor before I get my provari. Provari is my last ditch before I gave up on vaping. For me, Provari & standard boge cartos are soulmate, so much as Reo and 306 LR atty. I was skeptical with Reo myself. But it grows on me. These two pv are my go to PV. I don't care about "the next brand new-hi tech-uber hype PV device" as long as I got my Provari & Reo Grand with some fresh supplies of standard Boge cartos & 306 LR atties.

Sent from my mind using my fingers.

Guess I've been fortunate to have not gotten those. The ones I have do not use the clear plastic that is prone to cracking. As for deadening the taste, IDK. Maybe the ohm readings were high for the voltage used. Sounds like just a poor quality version overall.

I've been very happy using a standard cartomizer tank setup. No leak issues after 3 months of use, 6+ml/day, good run time between refills. I use a notcigs M1A1 tank, with boge, kanger, whatever cartos. You want to get bare stainless steel cartos, else you have to peel the wrapper and remove the glue. Some vendors carry the cartos pre-punched, or you can slot/punch them yourself (I have a dremel, slotting takes under a minute with the tube cutter wheel; other people use a standard 1/4" self-piercing saddle valve from a hardware store plumbing section to punch them).

Downside on the tanks is that unless it is pyrex or stainless steel some liquids will crack the plastic. I vape a basic Vanilla Tobacco all the time, have had no issues.

The large cartos are also a good idea. I have some 2ml mega cartos, waiting to try them with my longer tank :)

Good luck!
