Congratulations! 100% vaping on 0 nic sounds like a complete victory to me. I can share this with you... on my last quit attempt ( cold turkey ) from cigarettes, I developed the worst heartburn I have ever had in my life. I actually had to pull off the road into a convenience store to buy antacids, as it was so painful. The cause is likely the sudden cessation of the nicotine ( which decreases acid secretions in the stomach). You and I went on rebound acid overdrive. It WILL pass. And the OTC Prilosec does help. So does plain old antacid tablets (but don't take too many, follow max amount on the label). I forgot to add, I was not vaping.I have be vaping 3 weeks now and off of analogs for a month. Tha last week I've developed crazy heartburn that lasts all day everyday. I vape 0 nicotine and 100 vg. I've tried blends with pg and they irritate my throat and make no difference in heartburn anyway. I take tums and they don't help... Is this caused from vaping?

Thank you! I have used everything from super sweet to really creamy and mild... I want to say I'm just having a problem with not smoking analogs!I've been vaping over 3 years and get awful reflux with CERTAIN ejuices. I never change my pg/vg ratio, or nic content (which is only 0%-3mg now anyway) so I know it is the flavorings.
Try unflavored just for a little while to see if it goes away. Then you can troubleshoot from there?

Thank you! I never even tight that NO nicotine could cause heartburnuntil you have a bit more time under your belt you might consider adding a bit of nicotine to help cut back on your cravings. when I first quit a year and a half ago, I had to start out with 24mg nicotine in my juice to keep the cravings away. I've cut back to 18 since. since your doing so well at 0mg you might consider adding a small amount such as 3mg or 6mg, tops 10mg. just a small amount to help ease the cravings in this beginning time. then you can lower it as time goes on. you are doing AMAZING now and you don't want those cravings to win you over so a SMALL amount of nicotine might help stop the cravings or at least make them tolerable. right now it's like you are going cold turkey and I know that's not comfortable. going from a high amount of nicotine to Zero is EXTREMELY difficult. so instead of going back to smoking, consider adding a bit nicotine to help you out. hope this helps. best wishes!
