About to go fully digital

So I've been poking around the forums for a few days trying to gather information.
I recently made the mistake of ordering a trial from "Knight Sticks" which i luckily was able to head off and only got stuck for the shipping.. Even though the unit was pure junk and tasted like "censored" It did peak my interest, for i know if given the right equipment , flavor, and amount of vapor ill be hooked.

So on to the real reason of this post:

I decided on have placed an order for the following for starters.
eGo SET - Black
CHERRY LIQUID (DENSITY: HIGH-16mg; )
FARGO LIQUID (DENSITY: SUPERHIGH-24mg; )
Ill start with the regular tobacco taste and then try out the flavor for kicks

I am a 2 pack a day smoker of analogs (Camel Turkish Royals) and would relay prefer to feed my Nicotine demon via vapor instead.

Any advice and or insight as how to get the best performance from this unit?
Just pointing me to the proper forum threads to get me in the know would suffice as i am a complete noobie but quite eager to get the best possible foot forward in my vapeing.

eGo = Jealous!!! Nice choice of gear!! Personally I didn't start out with very high expectations but was VERY surprised at how much I enjoyed vaping from day one and have only ever had one cigarette (not my brand) in my mouth since. And all that did was to confirm that I am now a vaper not a smoker!!!

The only think I can think of that I think would make the transition easier if you have any problems is to go out and buy a packet of cigs that are not your favorite but you can still smoke just before your e-cig arrives. That way you can have a smoke if you really want to but you won't enjoy it as much as your favorite brand. I kinda think that's what happened with me but now I couldn't imagine getting the same satisfaction from an .... log that I do from my 510.

That's very good advice Silverthorn181. During the 12 days I was still smoking while vaping, I never bought the same brand twice. It kept my tobacco cravings "off balance" and made the switch easier. My last pack had 19 left in it when I gave them to a fellow smoker.

Try some Ry4 or some 555 liquids. They are a little sweeter but if you stick with it for a couple days, analogs will taste like ASH! Turkish blend is nice too. Reminds me of the Camel's of that style.

Well my eGO showed up today all shiny and new .
The good people at Janti even threw in an extra bottle of Fargo much to my delight.
So far I've been toying with different draw styles ect and must say I am thinking I made a wise choice here gonna be an easy transition in think *crosses fingers/knocks on wood*
I tried the infamous tea bag mod on the "6th" cart (5 prefilled RY4 H and one empty on the atty in the box) then filled it with the cherry. Works perfectly and yummy.
I did have an initial problem with a gurgling but i think i tried to put a tad too much juice in the cart.. I'll put a drop or 2 less in next refill.

As for the Auto I initially got from the trial order... i was able to refill one of the 2 carts no problem but I mistakenly pulled the stuffing out of the other one and cant seem to get it back in and still draw.. is it possible to pug a tea bag filler in there as well?
I would like to use this as a out and about solution until I can order a 510 or something and it seems to taste so much better with the fargo juice in it.

I'm also jealous! The ego with its 510 atty is a great PV, and the batts last a LONG time. Good move on that one! Gurgling atty means you flooded it. You can blow the excess juice out from the batt threaded end, or what I do is put an empty cart on and just vape it. But then, gurgling might not be a flooded atty, it might be the cart vents have liquid in them. If you look at the cart, where is fits into the atty there are two crescent shaped vents. That where the air flow goes, not through the filler material...its not a filter. There might be liquid in the vents. Wipe it off, or you can just suck the juice out and then spit it into a papertowel and rinse your mouth out with water. Don't want a lot of nic in the mouth.

Oh, and while I don't know anything about Knight Sticks, although I've seen their ads, there are a lot of filler mods for the 510. The tea bag should be the pyramid tea bag. Regular tea bag works ok but will hold onto juice too well and won't wick properly. The idea with the PTB is the material is a nylon that doesn't hoard the juice. Others use Blue Foam aquarium filter material. I use the ZFM mod.

A 510 cart should hold about 20 drops, more or less.

Yeah I'm pretty sure I over filled. This was my first attempt at it so not surprising really. I just disassembled , blew everything out and wiped up any thing i saw on outside. Worked perfectly after that.

As for the cartomizers form the "knight stick" is it possible to replace the filler with tea bag material as well? I want to use this little unit at work for now until i find a way to carry the eGO w/o risk of damaging it. and as i said i mistakenly pulled it from one of the two not realizing how difficult it would be to replace teh little tube up the middle.

must have been posting as at same time there.. they seem to be basic cartomizers from all the videos Ive seen so if its possible to replace it then I'mset. i just didn't want to waste any juice if it likely would not work.
And yes i watched all the PTB videos before i ever even received my eGO. so i have the nylon bags

If its a cartomizer like most others, no. The atty heater wire is wound up through the filler batting material. Pry the rubber mouth-end cap off and look inside. Like I said I'm not familiar with knights sticks, but most cartos are that way. Removing the filler will kill the carto. Best you can do is just add juice too it. Make sure you let it soak up completely. Some let it sit with added juice for several hours, depending on the thickness of the juice.

TMSPYDER - just switch. I was a pack a day smoker and when I had my batteries charged, I picked up my 510 and never went back. I attempted an analog on day 4 but never made it past the first drag - it tasted horrible!!! Good luck and have fun!
