Been vaping for a year now and have decided to start with the DIY. Been looking at wizard labs and was wondering which company has the best favors on that site. I will most likely start with fruit and berry flavorings. I'll branch out to some bakery stuff after I get the hang of it all. Which of the flavor companies available on that site has the most realistic fruit and berry flavors?

Thanks. That chemical taste is something that I am hoping to avoid. I am also hoping to avoid candy fruit flavors. I want fresh ripe flavors. Since there isn't much description to the flavors I have no idea which ones are what I'm looking for. I always hear of people using TFA and will probably try some of theirs as a starter. Any experiences with LA? How does the LA differ from the LAN?

Placed an order for some TFA flavors last night and just noticed that some of them say concentrate. Do I have to dilute those before mixing? What about the ones that don't say concentrate?

If it's concentrated, you just use less of it.
For TPA flavors start at 5% and add more to taste. The strawberry kiwi I use 12% -15% .most others I use I use at 10%.

Good Luck.

So when I am looking at a recipe that says to use 12% strawberry, 6% watermelon, and 1.5% coconut extra I should be using these percentages straight from the bottle and not doing any dilution first?

Yes, the %'s are straight from the bottle of flavoring. No diluting needed.

As for your original question, I have dealt with Wizard Labs and am thoroughly impressed. I visited their facility yesterday and they were extremely helpful (see the post where I talked about meeting with them and the help they provided).
Made my first three batches today and am loving it!!! Only dealing with one and two flavoring so far, but am learning and enjoying it!!

Good luck and hope you enjoy it.

Awesome. Just visited their site and it seems they are back logged. After the events of 4-28 people started to panic order. Hopefully they don't take too long. They said that their people have agreed to work extra hours to compensate for this. That is a sign of a good company that I would be happy to do business with.

My two cents for what that's worth..probably nothing :~) I'd take a look @ DIY Flavors - One Stop DIY Shop Store ...much better selection of flavor manufacturer's than WL and you can still get small samples for just a little bit more than WL prices.

I've ordered several times from OSDIY. Very good service, nice selection. I just got a dozen fruit flavors today and made test batches of each. My first trial with fruits, but they taste good, so far. The watermelon is kind of like a Jolly Rancher, which is good if you like that sort of thing. The raspberry (sweet) tastes very natural, and the blueberry (wild) does too.

Hi I'm also new to making my own juice. I order from the perfumes apprentice as well. As far as the concentrated flavors are concerned what I do is cut those in a half and it's worked out nice so far. In other words if your using a concentrate and flavor 1 is calling for 8 drops IL cut to 4 drops of the concentrate and see how that goes because it's stronger. (I hope that made since). You will use less of the highly concentrated flavors. Also did you buy a sweetner like sucrolose? I know I'm new but I've found it to really enhance some flavors and add a nice sweetness. I know everyone is different on what they prefer to use but I've had great success with sucrolose. Just adding a drop or two to a fruit or sweet mix really enhances the flavors. I got a big bottle off amazon.Com for around 6.00. That is one thing I don't want to be without. Have fun with expirmenting! I was plesant ly suprised how good the juices came out. Even with mixing some complex flavors. Start with some recipes off line. It's really a great feeling to make your own! I know I'm loving it!
