I am looking for a adapter to use at night by my bed. I need AC to USB for the manual passthru. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks so much.

I bought three of these, from this exact vendor. They work great, and the vendor combined shipping for me. I think my total for the three of them was somewhere between 24 and 25 dollars. The have 2 USB connectors built in and work exactly as I had hoped.

Pumpkin, I know you were asking about an AC adapter, but I always am plugging for my Kensington power packs... I used an old ipod charger for a while but I really love this - I've got two now ('cause I thought I'd lost the other one) and that's even better. Changed my PT experience completely. They weigh almost nothing, too.

You can find it at your local walmart, charge this battery with an usb cable connected to your computer and then take it with you and you can connect any usb device to it, small and portable thats the best part and runs at 5v.
ebay has an APC UPB10 power supply for 25 bucks.
You can charge up the pack or plug the usb into the A/C wall
adapter. Also charges and powers the PT at the same time.

I bought the other one on the site. (5 connector tips) It does have a USB but I haven't tried it yet. It was really cheap and came quickly. I know there is a thread here somewhere ( I may have posted it) that says how many MAH's, volts, etc is needed to work a passthru. This one says is 6.5 to 15V. 2amp, 40 watts. 2Amax, 3Amax. I don't know if it will run a passthru.
I thought it should say something like 1000mah but it doesn't have that info anywhere.
Goodprophets sells one that I know works. It is just a couple of dollars more than other places on the web. If you need to order anything else, you can save on shipping.

For those of you that have this power adapter can you look and tell me the make and model number so that I can search the internet for one? Sold out on the web site above.
You really want 3A (3000mA) @ 5v peak at least, since most are over-rated. 2A @ 5v DC continuous would be ideal. So a 4A peak would be perfect.
"intelligent, quick power solutions" is the only logo i can make out on the packaging. oh, the manufacturer is T.A.S. Electronics and there is a website, it's www.iqpowersupplies.com . the model number on the package is PST-15U
