Accidentally inverted battery in this mod. Will it still work

It's a kw x6 mod. First time trying to use it and i inverted the battery on accident. Now it just flashes three red lights whenever I try to use it. Is it totally broken or can i fix it somehow?

I have no experience with this mod, but if I remember correctly it is an ego style designed to take an 18650.
You can try turning it off and back on using that five click function.
If that doesn't work, I'm going to guess that it's gone. It's really not meant to be user serviceable.
Maybe someone that has more experience with that model can chime in.
I don't know if that model has reverse polarity protection.

how did you get the battery out of an x6?? its a sealed mod unless you have something different and it is named x6.

can you get a picture of it or a link with a picture?

FT's site doesn't say if the mod has reverse battery protection, but at least if you damaged it it was a cheap lesson. Be careful!

hmmm ok you have the KW pull the battery and hold down the button for about 20 seconds to drain the capacitor ( memory) and reinsert battery correctly (+ side into case), and turn it back on using the 5 quick clicks.....

A little late, but following up on this. Thanks for the help, Bunnykiller, but that method didn't work.

I guess nothing of much value was lost.
