The first tank ever made in e-cig world for atomizers was a GG tank, 3 years ago. An atomizer with a hole made by laser near the coil. It had even air control (basic control, you moved up and down the tank opening and closing the hole of an 901 atomizer).

Even if most tanks are still like this, I desided to make a modern tank. A very short tank that will be able to take enough ml of liquid (I will tell you later because copies are all around lol), it will have a small window for the liquid (I like small windows for durability and the best looking), it will let atomizer to go inside it very easy without any effort (most if not all the tanks out there have standard o-rings and they require big effort to put or remove atomizer inside them), and air control (air control will not be build on, you will be able to remove it any time).

So if we address all those issues that other tanks have we can have the best tank ever made.

Also I would like to know if you have any issues with the tanks that you already use and what you would like to see from a GG series tank

Thanks a lot for your input guys and girls:)

Tight fit once it is locked down. The tank I've used for 18 months is still excellent, however it sounds like many other models have slip issues. (Since you control both the tank and the atomizer, I am certain it will be leak/slip free :) )

2.5 - 3 ml capacity. Any smaller and refilling can become a PITA -- it's nice to run multiple hours between fills. Larger might be nice, but I'm not sure if the Achilles is long enough to really play nicely with a larger tank.

how about different sizes of the old FOG? I love my FOG, and it works great with punched Carto's

I love the FOG design, it is slim and not too many parts. Make it in different lengths with a little clear window and boom you have a winner.

It isnt perfect and i am sure you could update the design, but a FOGv2 would be awesome.

that is why i liked the FOG, the carto screwed in inside the tank, put the driptip like part in the top of the carto, poured in liquid around outside of the carto, screwed the topcap over the drip tip like mouthpiece and you were good to go.

long live FOG!

I thought Achilles was going to be the answer for most of us,( I thought) to be able to use our own tanks and tips, etc and still enjoy the quality of vape as in our GG atomizers and to free people from having to use cheap items like cartomizers. If you go ahead and design a special tank, special tip, etc, than its just another wonderful GG tank and it becomes something different than what you introduced us to in the beginning. If it has to be used with GG specific accessories than why get it vs Ithaka?

FOr me it was a great alternative to give my great tanks , most of them very expensive a chance to be used again, to give me something to use not in place of my Odysseus, but to have loaded up with another juice, or to have another device to enjoy.

If I cant use my own tanks and drip tips, than I rather stay with cartomizers or get the "other" small rebuildable tank atomizer out there that will give me the freedom to use it with my tanks and tips.

If the options go away from the Achilles, than its just not what it started out as. Not that another Wonderful GG atomizer wouldnt be appreciated, but just not what made me so excited and happy to finally have the option to use my tanks with GG qualtiy vape.

Just my thoughts, and not really a complaint but an observation. Im sure that whatever you bring to us, will be loved but for me, I have a wonderful GG atomizer tank, the Odysseus.

you have the right thoughts my dear. Achilles has to be used everywhere. But what made you think that this posibility will be lost if I make a GG tank?

Achilles will work everywhere, nothing changed on it. And GG tank (that is irrelevant to Achilles) will work with every atomizer too. :)

The most important thing is the ability to refill the tank, when it is easy and clean - its a win. Then comes the look - I am pretty sure that a GG tank will have both a nice way to refill and a great look so bring it on! :)

To be honest, I also prefer glass sections but that can also be a PITA. On the one side you can vape any juice without having to fear that it cracks your tank, on the other side I already had a lot of PITA with the glass breaking when I removed it - just a little tension at the wrong place and it goes cracking...
I guess threads in glass are hard to make, are they?

What I generally look for in a tank are what other people have mentioned: A good tight fit, no carto/atty slippage, a good view of my juice (I like the bottom window idea), and easy filling.

I've really only got a couple of tanks that fit the bill for me these days. One is the Chinese AGR, and the other is Fluid Vapor's Fluid Flask. Both are built in a way that the atomizer part simply cannot slip, and both provide for filling from the top without having to move the tank or the atomizer. The Fluid Flask approach of having the entire top easily come off the tank handles this much better than the AGR by providing a large fill opening you can just pour juice into, much like how you'd fill the UFS -- and it's quite possible that's where they got the idea. The AGR just has a fill hole with a screw, so you can't just pour juice in, but it beats filling most other tanks.

Glass is another thing I look for, generally. Not only will it never effect the flavor, but it's good to know I never have to worry about juice eating it.

And, of course, it's got to look great (particularly on my GG mods), but I don't think that's something I'd need to worry about from a GG product.
