I was never a carto fan as I feel they change the taste of juice, and when I heard of the MAP tank I was pretty excited. i probably was doing something wrong...but i was getting dry hits after the initial 10 or so first hits... and after wasting juice and experiencing some leaking.. I gave up on tanks as I didn't want to go to the carto tank route.
I got a suggestion from Pamdane here on ECF to try the Acorn tank..... to be honest, i wasn't expecting much.... but it's EVERYTHING i wanted in a tank and more!!!
PRO's
- no syringe needed, the top is a screw on. leaking is just not possible
- in the MAP tank, sometimes the juice can get in the middle, causing you to suck up juice or leak through the bottom. not the Acorn tank! when you screw the top in, there's a metal tube that encases the middle post, so there's no way juice can get in there, unless maybe you hold it upside down
- NO DRY HITS. i have yet to get one and i been vaping this for hours. chain hit it 5 times in a row right now, STILL NO DRY BURNS
- IT's $10 FRIGGIN DOLLARS
CON's
- there's a rubber thing on top of the tank which isn't entirely flat, just an aesthetic thing
- not the best materials made, the tank looks to be made out of plastic. but it works great and is efficient in design, so not really a con imo.
i got the suggestion from Pamdane that the CE2's work better with smaller tanks, so I got the regular size which holds 3-4ml...using the 2.4-2.6ohm CE2's. they do offer XL for $12 that holds 6-7ml
seriously, these guys dont get enough love. my first review here on ECF which i personally think is well warranted, plus more
