I just filled my acorn tank for the first time with Sour Apple juice. First hit was much different than the other cartos I've tried, but this is my first experience with a ce2. Hits great, tastes good too. Again, just different than the spongy cartos I have used thus far. Loving it though. I'll keep you posted on how it goes. Anyone know how often I should fill? Do the wicks need to stay covered all the time?

i have an acorn tank and a j-tank. I havent had any luck with punched cartos but i really like the acorn tank. just fill it up, make sure not to fill it up too far. taste is very clean to me. had a problem with it tasting a lil burnt when it was new. just turn it sideways and roll the juice around and that solves it! so far i Love it tho:) ive been using a dark 70/30 vg/pg mix juice with it so after a couple days it started to taste a little...."nasty" just ran some water on the ce2 then did a dry burnt it and cleaned it all off and viola! tasted great again.

so theres my 2 cents:)

I too have noticed a burnt taste occasionally, but it does taste very clean. I've been swishing the juice around, and I still get the burnt taste. I've burnt through about 1ml so far, think the burn taste will eventually go away? The vapor is very smooth.

hey ransizzle. have u tried dripping directly onto where the coil wraps around the wick? if not, try dropping a couple drops on the coil, let it set for a few minutes and get a q-tip and sponge up the remaining liquid inside the small area where the coil is located. The 1st time I used one it wasn't wicking correctly, for some reason that part wasnt getting/staying wet and i was getting the burnt taste. after i directly dropped some juice on it, cleaned it up and it started working great.

Audio Weasel, I started this back in Oct and have since bought both the Chibi and the Acorn. I used the Acorn for about a week and then put it down because I don't like having to keep things upright and you can't lay the Acorn down or it will leak and flood like all CE2s I've tried. I'm still using the chibi (tank) and I love it. I fill it before I leave for work (I take 2 of them w/2 different flavors so I can switch off) and I'm good for the entire day. They're easy to fill with a syringe too, no fill hole necessary, just slip the needle between the carto and plug.

Well, I have 3 days off this week, and was intending on beating Dragon Age 2 finally during that, so maybe I'll fill it for the marathon gaming session lol. My Diamond mod stands up on its ...., so it shouldn't be an issue.

Thanks I will give this a shot. I got the chibi and the acorn, and I have to say, that so far, I'm more of a chibi fan. The vapor seems more "pure" on the acorn, but the taste doesn't seem very consistent when vaping. Doing big "drags" seems to produce a burnt flavor. The chibi however, is awesome. I've had no problem with either when it comes to leaking, and I have left both laying on their sides for extended periods.
