More questions, I'm afraid.
I have this one atty that becomes acrid every five hits, it seems. Normally, if the atty is about to dry out, and either needs more dripping, or else the cart needs to be topped off, I get slight drop-off in vapor and at first slight "metallic" smell, maybe a bit of acrid "biting" of the throat, but, anyway, it lets you know that it needs attention ahead of time.
With this one, it just gets *really* razor-blades-in-your-throat acrid instantly, with no warning.
I'm figuring maybe there is a polyester fiber stuck to it some place, but I can't see it. Unless I am missing something...
Is there anything I can do to get it out? Will washing it help, or am I wasting my time, it's stuck for good, and I should just move on?
I'm not going to use it as is. I am getting really paranoid about breathing in God-knows-what when it's so acrid it hurts my throat.
Thanks all,
Briar.
