most of them come near fully charged.. u can use one and put the other on charge.. as tribal says when the green light comes on its cooked..

this leave on for lots of hours is cos the maker thinks people are too stupid to know what green means.. green mean done..

but as a general rule they come with lots of charge in them.. they are charged when they are made and dont self discharge very quickly..

My njoy said 5 hours I think for 1st charge, so I did that.. cause its not that long anyways. But the kissbox says 16 hours, smoke for 20min, then 4 more hours! That's so long! lol. I'm doing it anyways, but it sucks cause i wanna try it

thats to cycle them a bit.. they get that anyway so its a waste of time.. just dont always expect to get the full run time the first time u use them.. there isnt much point in letting them run flat (the light flashes) anyways.. not unless u are away from a charger.. just swop them over when it suits u..

the sixteen hour bit is total nonsense..

Trog is right you can use many things that use a lithium ion battery right out the box! So if you get say an ipod and are desperate to use it and the green battery bar is near full when you get it, you can indeed use it and ignore the manual! Each Lithium Ion battery goes through the motions at the factory anyway so you need not treat them special because they are new! I have done this and never had a lithium ion battery go bad! Your excited, the green light is on so I say GO!!!

My light was green in like 20 minutes! lol.. why would they say to charge for 20 hours if there's no point? why not just say 4-5 hours like all the others? lol, where do they get 20 from?! hehe

the guys who write the manuals dont have any idea.. neither do most of the sellers.. but its the first reply to a faulty product complaint.. is your battery properly charged.. 16 hours makes sure.. he he he

a quote from a computer help desk..

customer.. my PC screen dosnt light up..

help desk.. is it plugged in..

customer.. i dont know i cant see the power has been cut off..

add a dozen or so questions and answer before that stage was reached..
