Adapter Quirk?

I've been using a 510 to cartomizer adapter for quite sometime on my Spade, but now it won't work.

I can take the same adapter & carto and attach it to a 510 battery and it's just fine and a 510 atty will work on the Spade.

Anybody know what I'm missing here?

Not sure all I can say is the DSE 905 I have with a 510 adapter caused the blue LED to stop working unless I fit it with the 901. But now that doesnt even work anymore, but the thing still fires with either atty attached just no LED.
