adapters

I just figured out that the adapters separate for easier cleaning.
The brass and the aluminum piece separate.

Do you guys also do this?
Or have i discovered something earth shattering?

Actually I think you have discovered how to break the adapter. They are press fitted so you should not take then apart.

No they are fine.
Actually i cleaned a lot of black stuff off.
Residual grease from the machining i guess.

Do me a favor, unless you have something more intelligent to say, don't answer my posts please...take your frustrations out on someone else.
No hammers though!

Thought it rather intelligent to say that you should not disassemble pressed parts.After doing this several times it will not have as good a seal, and may start leaking. But of course to each their own.
