So I made a great flavor with zero nicotine, but it seems like when I add Nicotine, even to a 3mg it just steals all the flavoring away. Im guessing that when nicotine is added the acids and bases mix to make it a neutral 7 on the ph scale. I was adding 20% sour drops, and tart and sour from Loranns. Im guessing theres too much acid blended with the bases from fruits? Anyone ever encounter this problem?

As you add a new volume of something, everything else needs adjustment as well.. did you use a diy calculator to help? Your original zero nicotine flavor tastes great, it is 100% of its mix.. If you add anything to that mix, the original contents of the mix decrease in overall percentage of the total mix.
Sorry if this doesn't make sense or doesn't help. I hate seeing a thread get 0 responses.

Yeah, I would re calculate the recipe to include nic of whatever base you have (PG or VG)

Its amazing how much it can change the makeup of a juicewhen you change just a small amount of one ingredient or another

The only thing ive seen change a juices far as the bases are concerned VG making it sweeter. a juice mixed at 100% VG will come out sweeter than 100% PG

Nic shouldn't effect the flavor much other the If it is VG based in that case refer to the above. I have heard of nic with a flavor.. not had any myself and from what ive read it can be a sign your nic is no good

If you are adding nicotine to an existing mix that tastes good, I would expect that.

If you are making a new batch with nicotine, so the flavoring level remains the same, I wouldn't expect that. And if it did happen, I would know my nicotine solution is crappy and wonder why I didn't vape it unflavored before to taste test it before I started mixing with it.

Hmm it is a new batch with nic calculated in. I'm using PG nic. The result was worse with VG nic. It's from rts vape. I keep hearing that nude nicotine is way smoother and cleaner but I haven't tried them out yet. Still trying to burn through this 100mg nic.

I've used this nic on other batches with recipes locked in and they're coming out okay. I've been adding a bit of lemon juice to add some acidity to it and it's bringing most of the flavor back. But still zero tastes the best.

Thanks for the reply guys.
