Took an old 510 Cart....cut the tip off and put a tip in it......It was burning my lips....this seemed to solve the problem.

Took an old 510 Cart....cut the tip off and put a tip in it......It was burning my lips....this seemed to solve the problem.
I did something basically identical to this last night. However after cutting the cart, I put the rubbery part with the hole in it thats at the end of the cartomizer, and put it into the end that goes into the tank. Also I put my regular drip tip on it instead of using the storm tanks tip.
One thing I noticed after doing that is that I can hold it upside down vertically, or any other way for that matter, and it doesn't leak at all. It's like the rubber tip from the cartomizer forms a seal with the silicon cap over the coil.

lol I did the same thing with an old cartomizer. I agree with Dalton63841 thoough. Loose the little rubber tip. a $2 drip tip is your best friend with tanks, alot better draw.
