As a platinum rewards member of a specific hotel chain, they are always trying to upgrade me their super-duper, ultra plush rooms or suites. And I've always had to make the request, "No, please put me in one of the bottom-of-the-garbage-pile rooms that are reserved for smokers."

Last week, with my 4 new 901's, juice and other accessories in my luggage, I couldn't wait to be upgraded. Alas, I'd become such a repeat customer that they gave me my normally requested smoking room - and the hotel was booked solid! :p

But on the brighter side, with my new e-cig addiction I can now "smoke" in a non-smoking room! Upgrades, here I come! :D

Yeah, we have so much better choice of hotels now! One hotel I stayed in (Hilton Garden Inn, Austin TX) the smoking rooms were at the top underneath the kitchens and some AC system, and were so incredibly noisy I requested a change to non-smoking pretty quickly.

Unfortunately the place had filled up and we were stuck for one night, during which some losers decided to play Sweet Home Alabama repeatedly at high volume in the early hours. Ach.

Ya on my last trip to Chicago I stayed in the Hilton on Michigan Ave.
It was nice not having to stand outside freezing to smoke.
On a side note it was the same weekend that Obama was there for his first presidential press conference.
No I didnt see or meet him. I prefer not to be in the company of secret service. They might have locked me up lol. (I'm a republican sorry)
