Lol, sounds like you've caught the bug Ted. It's a bit like treating yourself to new toys but beware, you might already have found the best available at the moment, the technology isn't good yet. Some people just keep on buying and some wait for new developments, it just depends on your type and how much you can afford.

How do the mini DSE901 and classic RN4072 compare in your opinion? I know the cartridges and batteries last longer in the classic but what about vapour production and ease of draw?

What!!!??? You sound like me. I've purchased all of the above and more. It is addictive. Probably because we are always looking for the best until we find it. Good luck!

@marian00---I have read elsewhere that you like the sedansa but what did you think of the ruyan cigar? and does using e-liquid affect your diva at all?

@kit---I hope those ruyan carts are as good as you say !

I prefer the pen-style the most. The cigar probably smokes just like a cigar, but I was looking for something more like the real cigarette-smoking experience. It is just a preference for me. I thought that because it would emit large quantities of vapor, that I would like that over the pen-style. But now I've learned that is not always the case.

As long as your device's battery steams consistently and keeps that LED light lit up during the whole dragging process without flickering or going on and off, the amount of steam that gathers in your mouth is enough to make you feel like you took a toke off of a real cig. (I look at my reflection in the mirror or off my gold wedding band to make sure my battery stays lit while dragging.)

Well we've spent over £1200 in the last eight weeks. But now we have lost count.
We have tried nearly everything out there and now we have settled on theJanty kiss box classic even these have their faults but they seem to outperform everything else so far we've tried which includes 901, 103, 4081 - 5 , sedansa diva , sedansa cigar, cheap pens style, cheap cigar, and pipes,
Loong Totem version 9 and version 10 and their throwaway cigar.
Currently the best liquid in the UK is from.e-cigs.co.uk and pillbox totally wicked plus I have been trying theJanty liquid mainly Marlborough and coffee which is all good to.
Ted you will spend spend spend to find the best smoke and will be very disappointed on your way with various failures of parts on your journey to find what suits you.
So for us we now have four Jantys which give us the spares if we need them and Janty just replace the faulty parts when we need them.

Ned you tried the ruyan cigar ?

Hi kit no I'd like to though I've been trying the sedansa cigar which is probably a version of what you have because the atomiser in this is bigger than the cheap ones which I also have but the cheap one works far better than the sedansa which is on its way back to sedansa and the diva.
By what I can make out
ruyan don't seem to make these any more and seem to be concentrating on just the throwaways by their manufacture site but this is the impression I get whether this is true I don't know.
So I think the only way of getting one is through heavily gift? Which seems to be all old stock but I am so anxious to try their cartridges but they don't seem to do 24 like I think you said you used?.
One thing I have found with the cigars one minute they're working all right and the next they're dead and then they work so I haven't made it my main one I tend to pick it up when nothing else is lying around.
At the moment I'm smoking the cheap cigar with pillboxes cigar liquid which isn't bad . the taste isn't strong but the kick is bloody wonderful.

Well, there are two of us in our household, and yes, this last month, we have spent a lot on trial and error, but now I think we have a good match for each of us and have found what works for our very individual tastes and smoking styles.

Same for my daughter, who has also been "finding her way".

I think from this point on, it will more of a "maintenance" thing, spare parts and liquid and such.

Although, I look forward to new and improved products.

As far as what we have spent so far, scared to total it up, but I do not feel any of it is wasted, as even those items that did not work or were way too overpriced, well, we learned lessons.

I look forward to seeing what new and wonderful products are on the horizon.

Tell me about it, about 1 month in and so far:-

2 penstyles (still favourite!)
1 supermini V1 (this was my first buy and very nearly put me off the whole idea, useless IMHO)
2 mini's
1 Ruyan Throwaway (awaiting del)
1 Ruyan Titanium

All in all about 200 Carts and 3 bottles of liquid...... I think 20 Marlboro a day was cheaper!!!!

I'm hoping I can cut it down to using the throwaway and maybe just the penstyles with liquid and the odd new atomizer. At least I'll be able to keep track then!

Local Landlord won't let me use them inside the pub, but hopefully the miserable get is leaving and a bloke I know is taking over who's an ex-smoker and was really impressed when he tried a pull on an e-cig.

Yep, in the beginning you will keep buying and trying. Soon you will discover what suits you best. When you find the ones that satisfy you, you'll just maintain those...and buy replacement parts or complete starter kits...whichever comes out to be more cost effective for you. That's what I'm doing now. I fiddle with my devices less and vape more. It sure is nice.
