Weelll...I'm a collector too. Not really surprising, since I seem to collect hobbies very easily. I started with a copper 510, then an eGo, and now I have a black 510 on order (for hubby, uh-huh, I keep telling myself that). I have 3 boxes for all of my stuff, since I'm experimenting with PG/VG and flavorings, and I joined the latest TV co-op.

I've been here all of a month, lol.

ETA: And I've done my first mod (the PTB).

I am a noob to vaping, but in my three weeks I have spent well beyond (2x+) what my analogs cost me. I have the 510s with attys from 510-B Q disposible, Boge Expert, and Joye, extra carts, long and short Joye and generic batteries, 30ML of JC juice plus the JC sample pack and the shunned Chinese stuff. I gave away my first disposable (restuffed and fed with Valencia JC juice), and lost one of my first SLB 510s and killed the batt and atty on the other one.

And this week??.... Gosh Wally, it sure would be swell to get my hands on one of those Platinum Ice mixing kits from Wicked and a bunch of cartos and try out some new flavors. Can I spend twice what I spent on analogs AGAIN this week? Can I? Please!?

I really am down almost half on my analogs, and as a heavy smoker of 3+ decades, it is huge progress. I even bought a treadmill and use it fast several times a day trying to get my lungs clear and my wind back. That is worth 50 or 75 a week to me on my new Gadget Vape habit all day long.

Also a big deal, a month ago I wouldn't let the stores close overnight without at least 1.5 or 2 packs of analogs in my hand. The last few nights I slept well with less than 10 cigs in the house. It is almost 5pm, and I still have one left for the ride to the store. Amazing.

@ scfaster:

It's a whole new world, man. 30+ years, 3 pks per day over here, as well. It took me over 2 months to quit, but I haven't had a smoke in over 6 months now. If it cost twice as much as smoking, it would still have been worth it to me.

Now, tell me how you manage to talk yourself onto that treadmill... :D

Well I started with a mini ecig, then a 808 followed by a 901, 2 Egos (one for a friend), Sabertouch, Journeyman (with another on the way for a friend), and this morning ordered a Buzz. All over a 3 week period, and then there's the countless juices, flavorings, batts, atty's etc so I guess you could say I'm addicted to this new hobby lol.

I just started vaping two weeks ago and I'm waiting for delivery of my 3 model. The first was a Green Smoke that I returned because it was an overpriced piece of crap. Then I got an eGo. Now I'm waiting on delivery of my Chuck. Next up for me is probably a Buzz or a GGTS.

I honestly don't see myself going too overboard though. Right now I'm in a discovery phase. I'll eventually end up picking a favorite which I'll then use all the time. I have several guitars and all but one of them (my favorite) sit and collect dust.

Biffrocko, nice looking chuck. They are well built devices for our vices lol.

Thanks! I needed something that could use 18650s for an upcoming camping trip. The custom graphics option sold me.

I got one for my wife too. Her's is the one right above mine in the latest pr0n post from Jeff.

Just starting out actually waiting on my first order I have noticed a few things.

Those just starting and looking to get off using analogs go for the e cigs that looks as much as a real smoke as they can. I ordered with that in mind my self lol after a while it seems that practicalities come into play. Knowing myself I'm sure ill end up getting a few,I should just bite the bullet and get a top of the line mod to start with.......

You are so right Q. I am in full agreement that if it costs twice as much and I do quit it will be worth it. I have spent a lot of money trying to quit, this is the closest I have gotten. In time I am pretty sure that I will win with the vape. That is why I am not even mildly phased about dropping a couple of C-notes on it. I'd spend that on Chantix too, and this is a more pleasant route.

The treadmill is very out of character for me, but it is part of the package. I used to be very active with my adventure sports, and was a whitewater freak. Now I don't paddle because I am short on wind and a long swim would end badly. I work on the river and it kicks my .... daily that I am not still in there playing.

That and the GF went away, so losing a few pounds and getting my wind back will probably help my love life. Most pretty girls do not fantasize about some fat old wheezing guy unless they are the beneficiary of the life insurance, then it is faster, faster, faster.. LOL..

Was a heavy smoker. 2 packs a day.. I slowly cut down on the analogs over time and now prefer to vape over the analogs. Might smoke 1-3 analogs a day just because I have a couple of tins of tobacco left to tube. But once those are gone I don't plan on buying and more analogs. Jeez...Here in Hawaii they just raised the State tax on cig's again....close to $9.00 a pack.... Started off with a joye510 to a Screw Driver.. Both of which I have sold.. Now my main vap's are the Buzz... The Journeyman/Kaji.... the Riva... and only started vaping a little over 3 months ago.... I feel I pretty much have my devices set... Now the never ending quest on e-liquids begins.......
Vape on.......
