Hello All,
Been vaping for about 6 weeks now and I'm running into a scary situation. In this short time, I've gone through DSE-701, 401's, 801's, a Prado (Yuk),510's, carts, dripping, atomizers, clearomizers (the best so far) & just ordered a GoGo kit. The process has been a hoot but where does it end? It seems like there's always something newer and better out there. I guess it's just like iPods, tennis rackets, surround systems and the like, it becomes somewhat of an addiction to have the latest/greatest.

How have you guys managed to temper your lust for experimentation? Or do I just give in.

I'm coming up on 7 months of vaping, and I finally reached a "smoother" place about a month ago. I think I may be interested in a Darwin, but now my liquids and methods are pretty much routine. I am also waiting for a large capacity carto that tastes as good as dripping, and doesn't come with a line of people complaining about it. But if I had to stop where I'm at right now . . . I am very satisfied. It just takes a little time to find your place.

That's encouraging. I guess I just have to wait to find my 'sweet spot'.

I just started a month ago.
Now I am full blow addict.
I bought a disposable 510 to start, I liked it so I quit smoking. Then I bought a 510 valet kit. 2 days later anoth 510 kit and a ego kit. 5 days later I got a eGo tank. I just bought a Tekk Mod and I am ordering a Juice Box.

I have juice and parts orders showing up in the mail every 2 days now. I love toys so I am saving for a Megaladon, Rio, and Provari.

The hardest part is the juice. I have over 50 flavors right now. Some I like, most I dont. Still searching for the magic juice.

I have spent some $ on this new hobby, but I feel great and have extra $ now that I'm not buying smokes.

I've never been a "shopaholic".......till now.Every time the mail man comes its like santa with a new present. Its so easy to justify it though cuz Im not smoking! Thats what I tell myself anyway.Im not sure if it will end especially with all the new tech coming out in the next couple months. The best I can hope for is to allow myself so much so often.

Its not just a habit....its a hobby!!

I've taken to modding, so I can tinker with and build my own ultimate equipment. I canmt see dropping a couple hundred on a manufactured piece of equipment when I know I'll be looking at it going, "What if this was here and that worked this way?". I'll just build my own. Modding's not for everyone, though. There are some shmecksie PVs out there tho. If I had a little more cash and a little less ingenuity, I'd be a PV-junkie lol.

I've gotten into building my own but, really we should consider collecting mods. In 10 years they'll be like vintage pipes. Look at how quick products come and go. Most of them will be very rare in a few years.

I agree.

My problem came when I found out that e-cigs could go from being an "adequate replacement for cigarettes" to finding out they could be better than cigarettes could ever hope to be. So, instead of buying standard e-cig kits in the same way I bought Pall Malls for a lot of years, I've become the guy who... if I was a cigar smoker... would be patronizing cigar shops that feature walk-in humidors.
