Adding flavored oils to juice

Since I am still a noob here and do not have the post count to post in other forums yet I am going to ask this here.

I am a new vaper.
Smoked my last anologue the last week in July and have not picked one up since.

I only vape and am VERY happy with it - thank you to my mentor mendnwngs.

Recently a couple of my friends began vaping and one of them asked me a question.
I have not been able to find the answer here using the search feature.

She smokes menthol cigarettes and is now vaping menthol e juice.
The particular juice she purchased is not as tasty as she would like.
Not as minty I assume - I do not smoke menthols so I have no real experience with the flavor.

She was wondering if she can add a bit of peppermint oil to the juice to boost the flavor until she finds another brand to her liking.
I am a bit leery so I thought a more experienced user could answer this please.

I did mention that when she orders in the future - and I recommended two vendors I am very happy with - to ask for a stronger mint flavor.
Maybe double it like I have asked for when ordering some flavors.

But for right now, with the menthol juice she currently has, can she add peppermint oil?

She can but doing that will no doubt kill her attie faster. Is there anywhere you/she can buy menthol crystals? Soak some in PG till they dissolve then add to the liquid. There probably is a 'how to' DIY forum under Tips and Tricks.

Not a real cut and dried question as it seems...

Oils could cause atty issues.

I do mix, from scratch, and have used oils without issues. But, you knew there was a catch, I always use PGA as a component when I use any oil type flavoring. I originally did this to make the oil mix into the solution before I learned that some folks have had issues with oil clogging up attys.

So the short answer is, yes, but it may hurt the atty.

Thanks for the heads up on the oils, I was thinking about experimenting a little bit........I guess I'll leave it to the pros for now.

I must get her as well as the others to join this site.

As of this afternoon I have helped 4 people order their starter kits and begin vaping - 2 online friends and 2 INRL. Right now I am heading over to the Suppliers Forum and hope to win a kit for a young man at work who is considering dropping the cigarette habit too!
