The American Lung Association has started its 2016 Campaigns and Fear Mongering. Once again they are twisting Statistics to fit a Financially motivated agenda.
Battle in a less than stellar attempt to stop tobacco use............While attempting to Prevent people from choosing a healthier alternative.
Rather than recognizing even youth have realized the dangers and are choosing not to smoke, but rather to vape( I accept 18+ regulation) they insist while the numbers of Smokers has dropped, Harmful Dual and Alternative tobacco use has increased. <BRAVO YOUNG AMERICA!>

***Edit to add their link:

At-A-Glance

One of their Sources for concern<yea, right> over Nicotine use by Adolescents<what age group?> is linked below.

Short- and Long-Term Consequences of Nicotine Exposure during Adolescence for Prefrontal Cortex Neuronal Network Function

The word May Appears 23 times as reinforcement of proof within this publication.

While Charitable Organizations Do have Responsibilities to their cause, They must also consider and secure their very existence. People get pay checks and they work to protect their jobs.

Rest assured the American Lung association and every paid Anti-Tobacco Activist have no intention of getting Laid Off. Therefor - their need to re-categorize and Demonize Vaping.

Personal note:
62 years old
Happily Married 40 years
4 children and 11 grand children - loving and loved
I Started Smoking at age 13. Once I started working I always stayed employed. Went on to Build my own small business and operated successfully for 23yrs.
Never, even once, cost an employer or health care a single penny due to smoking. :D
Started Vaping almost 4 years ago and have seen no negative effects.

Nicotine does what?

Thanks for the post.
As far as this study is concerned.
Short- and Long-Term Consequences of Nicotine Exposure during Adolescence for Prefrontal Cortex Neuronal Network Function
I defy anyone showing me a documented case of anyone that actually
suffers from any debilitation as the result of nicotine.(smoking doesn't count)
I also would would like to see all the court cases where exposure to nicotine
during adolescence caused criminal behavior. Again smoking doesn't apply here
because of the socio-economic factors contributing to juvenile delinquency and
smoking in the lower class sectors of the country.
