Running current release of Firefox (55.0.3) with AdBlock Plus and NoScript, don't see any of the ads.

And emojis gone.

And here I've been messing around, searching for solutions, doing virus scans, trying to figure out why I started getting those annoying ads I can't get rid of, b locking the bottom of the screen. Time for a vacation.

So came back in thru Chrome & ad block followed but script thing didn't and forum back the way I like it. So far no ads on bottom.

I'm using the uBlock origin addon for Firefox and haven't yet seen any ads. I recommend it and it's free!

noscript is da bomb. I wish it existed for Firefox on iPhone.

If you're on the Firefox you can use AdblockPlus + Element Hiding Helper for Adblock Plus(to remove the annoying close button). If you're using chrome then AdblockPlus and click on 'Block Elements' and click on the [X] to hide it.

Both iphone (safari browser only) and android(samsung broswer only) have Adblock plus app.
No ads on safari on the iphone with ABP.
I'm using Adaway(requires root) on android so there's no ads either.

Yeah but it's always on. The beauty of noscript is you can allow only the scripts you want. That way you can allow the 1-3 scripts that make the site function and kill off all the crud.

Same here. Last night was awful, I really hope they don't go that route. I logged out because it was frustrating on the iPad and interfered with posting.

Those of you on mobile platforms, iOS and Android might want to try the Brave browser. It has built-in ad (and tracker) blocking.
