hey im new to the forum and been vaping for bout a year now. almost quit smoking all the way, only smoke a few cigs a day. anyway i have a basic setup now the itaste mvp2 and a iclear16 tank on it. I really like the idea of rebuilding atomizer tanks. they look nice and perform the way i like. I dont want to drip it looks like a hassle to me. but i get the point. anyway does anyone have any ideas on a good performing rebuildable tank that i could get to learn how to build my own atomizer. i was looking at the steam turbine. id like to spend around 40-60 or cheaper if i can find one. i just want a great product

If you're going genisis style, the RSST is the starter RTA of choice. If not genny, a kayfun clone (e.g., ehpro) would be a goodie.

Lots of info here in the forum and on YouTube to read/watch to help you make the choice (although I would lean toward the kayfun if I were you... no pressure).

Welcome!!

I too am interested in rebuilding but I don't quite understand everything that goes into it yet. Still reading and learning from others on the forum

The easiest method I've found is making a micro coil (round kanthal 28 gauge is what I use) and pushing organic cotton through it after mounting it. pbasardo, grimmgreen and riptripper(if you're feeling wild) have all made plenty of videos on youtube, if you're interested. I spent months watching them before I tried and still messed up my first build. The kayfun light is probably the easiest and simplest way to start rebuildable tank atomizers. They aren't cheap unless you buy a clone, but you have to make sure it's not plated. You want genuine stainless steel.

RBA 's are far superior in flavor to any carto or clearo on the market if they're properly built IMO . The Kayfun clones with a cotton wick and microcoil sit at the very top in flavor and ease of build . This is arguably the best Kayfun clone on the market IMO . HCIGAR Kayfun 3.1 | Luxor Vapes

    I posted a similar question.
It also has to do with the vape you are after. The closer to the top the atomizer is, the warmer your vape will be.
I just ordered Fogger v3 (tyephoon knockoff) and KFL+ clone. I like a cooler vape and wanted something easy, but that will grow with me. Everyone LOVES the kayfun. It's probably a really good place to start. Gennys are probably pretty good too, but I didn't want to mess with wire mesh, and I like a cooler vape. Another one a lot of people like is the kraken.

Good luck, I hope you get it figured out!
