I think that I smoke analogs in a different manner than a lot of people on the forum. Here's my situation: I typically inhale first into my mouth, and then to my lungs. I've seen this pattern referred to as "gulping." I am also a relatively light smoker, 3-8 analogs per day, but I smoke them quickly (<2min/each) and usually within a short period of time (<2hrs, right before bed). In other words, I typically smoke small amounts, but rapidly.
I'm currently vaping a DSE-901 with JC "High concentration" tobacco-flavored juice. I have several other models on order (DSE-801, Dura-C, Prodigy) and juices to get an idea of what I might like best. However, on the DSE-901 I currently use, I have the following observations:
1) Inhaling in my normal manner yields very little vapor on exhale, but a fair amount of vapor when I inhale directly into my lungs
2) The tobacco flavor is unlike that of my normal analogs (Camel Lights), but is not unpleasant.
3) I can feel the "throat-hit" when inhaling from the DSE-901 directly into my lungs.
But most importantly,
4) Several draws on the DSE-901 using either my normal "gulping" manner or a prime puff followed by a long inhale directly into the lungs does not give me the physiological effects of a typical analog, in other words, I feel no "high" even after several inhalations.
I'm wondering if anyone else is in this situation, or has advice regarding how I can improve my vaping experience. I've seen lots of talk about "throat-hit," but honestly, as a "gulper," I don't experience this with analogs and so it is not something that I am seeking. If I had a choice, I would prefer a milder "throat-hit" with a greater nicotine concentration to get the same physiological effect that I get with analogs.
If this topic has been covered before, can you point me to the correct thread?
