Hi guys.
I started smoking this on 22 January 2010.
I first bumped into the E cigg on the web and then came across this forum.
I wasn’t too sure about the promises made but when hundreds of people are all telling you the same thing and you cant find anything really against it you start to wonder. So I ordered from heaven in china and got started.
I remember the day the package arrived; I assembled it and had just bought a new packet of horizon red. As soon as I took a drag on the E-cigg I knew straight away I had just wasted my money on the last packet of cigarettes because I knew I would never need them. That was 4 months ago and I have never smoked a real cigarette since.
I gave the last pack away and have never even thought to buy again the only time I think of cigarettes is when I go to the shop and buy something and give them $50 and they give me $40-something back… Whoo whats going on here I never got any money back like that before .. Ahh that’s right not buying cigarettes anymore Heyy.
And I am in Australia where cigarettes are very expensive Like if you bought 2 X 50 cigg packs $50 would not be enough.
When I buy from china the juice is Dekang E-juice.
I smoke 24mg MLB and am content with it but I remember somewhere in this forum someone saying something about two different bases for the E-juice.
It was either mineral base and animal base or vegetable base or something like that .
My question is what are the bases and what is the difference is it worth me to look elsewhere for E-Juice. I know china is cheap but like I am only spending about $1 per week on Juice so I don’t mind to pay more if there is better quality out there.
And thank you all for the wonderful introduction to the E-Cigg through this forum.
Now when the doctor asks me do you smoke I pull it out and show him and say You tell me if I still smoke. They usually say that’s good as long as you aren’t smoking real cigarettes. And yes the E-Fluid is illegal here in Australia but it seems to get through customs OK in small quantities. Any help in upgrading the knowledge of and quality of the Dekang E-juice would be greatly appreciated.

You're probably referring to PG and VG. PG is The Dekang you're used to vaping. VG is vegetable based, some people prefer a mix of both. Supposedly PG offers more flavor and VG more vapor and throat hit. I usually use a mix 70% PG and 30% VG to combine the best of both worlds. Some people have been found to be allergic to PG and therefore require 100% VG, I personally have never tried 100% VG but many swear by it. There are many vendors that will mix it to your specifications with the best IMO being Dats Vapor, Tasty Vapor and Vapor Bombs. You could also make your own if you want to have fun and have the time. Good luck to you in whatever you choose and keep on vaping.:vapor::vapor::vapor:

PG and VG are the main bases there are a few others now, but I haven't mixed with them yet. All ya have to remember is PG is all about the flavor, it is thinner and the flavor mixes perfect with them with little sit time.
VG is the thickest and produces the best vapor.
So far I haven't really seen any thing about anyone have reactions to VG while some have allergic reactions to the PG.
Most people that can handle both like a mix of pg/vg
Most common are 50/50 80/20 and 90/10.
Hope that helps some.

Try to find vendors who will sell small bottles. 5-10 ml sizes. I have just started my journey and I am finding juices that EVERYONE seems to love and I hate. I have also found juices that I thought I would love and I hate. I ordered a few on a whim that I thought I wouldn't like and I love them, so experiment.

I don't know about suppliers that ship down under. I know I have already found a few great vendors here in the states, but one that I got some hardware from that I love, but I didn't like the juice I got from them. I guess what I'm saying is you have to try a bunch and see what you like. So far, my favorite juices are from madvapes.com here in North Carolina, but I don't know if they ship to Aus. I do believe that their juices are Dekang though, so I guess I like the cheap stuff.

PG is propylene glycol and VG is vegetable glycol. PG has better taste and throat hit. VG is thicker and produces the exhaled vapor. I've tried 100 VG and, while it produced CLOUDS of vapor, the flavor was weak and the TH was almost non-existent. I like a mix of 80% PG and 20% VG or 90/10. For good tasting liquids, you can't go wrong with Tasty Vapor!!

Good luck and welcome to ECF!!! :)
