A way to deal with flavor anxiety is make a batch of unflavored liquid with the same percentage of PG, VG, and nic as some premix you like and have on hand then cut the premix 2-4 times. You may discover that it tastes as good or better as the full strength after your taste buds adjust. The commercial
juice companies seem to use a lot more flavoring than most of us need.
I've been mixing since July. It might have been sooner but this DIY forum makes it sound way more complicated than it needs to be.
I mixed 200 ml yesterday, about a month supply for me. I keep two flavors available to
vape and might expand that in the future. The batch I made yesterday uses only 0,9% of capella's cuppucinno flavor, down from 3.5% when I started and it's fine. The higher percent seemed to be slightly irritating my mouth. With minimal use of flavor my liquid is more mellow and costing just a bit more than 1 penny per ml.
I used an android based calculator called Liquix that cost me a couple bucks from the play store. I have 50 ml and 100 ml erlenmeyer flasks for measuring PG and VG. I poor directly from 1 liter bottles into the flasks over the sink with a steady hand. I draw the nic liquid from it's bottle with a syringe that has a couple inches of clear plastic tubing pressed on so I can reach deep into the bottle. I measure flavor by dripping it into a syringe while blocking the hole with a finger. After a bit of practice the whole process takes about 15 minutes.
