So to start from the beginning. I started vaping about 8 months ago, my first ecig was the halo g6.
It worked really well and helped me quit analogs. However about 3 months of using it, i started looking for
A new device. I decided to buy the ego-c and i have been using it for the past 5 months.

At first i loved the ego-c but i really cant deal with it anymore.
1) almost all my eliquids taste weird. Its like you have to choose liquids that will taste well with it.
2) I noticed it dries my throat out so fast, i start to gag and cough uncontrollably.
3) after some time i noticed the the wick slides down and really sticks to the coil. When this happens
The vapor production goes down and coughing goes up
4) iI tried cleaning them but im horrible at it. When you take the spike plate off the wick sticks to the coil and the wick falls apart. When i dry burn the coil, it will become clean but then it has a burnt taste after ,that never goes away.
5) I bought some boge cartomizers (white box) to try out and it seems as if their not getting enough power
The experience i think is lacking.

So ifibally i decided to go back to the halo g6 and i love this thing. The vapor is warm, all my eliquid tastes good, and a good throat hit. BUT the battery sucks.
My question is, is there some combination i can use that will give me the same experience with my ego battery? Maybe i bought the wrong cartomizers?

I'd hate to spend money on another device but i was looking at the volt ecig. Is the battery life any better?
Thanks for reading my rant.
I just figured i would put this out there before i spend more money.

The Volt is a good choice. Look at the MAH rating for each battery you buy. Each 100 MAH = 1 hour. Or just move up slightly to a 650 ego/kgo, and try the BogeLR on that.

You're doing well, stick with it, rant all you want. The ego-t/c/a/b tanks and add-ons can be real tricky, if you're doing well with carto, stick with cartos.

Whatever ecig you decide to buy (which is more about battery capacity than anything else), check out cartomizers. Cartomizers are easy to use, reliable and repeatable in flavor and vapor, have few of the reliability issues of tanks, and are cost effective.

You can buy Boge cartos in boxes of five for around $8 and that box will last you from 15 days to a month. Cartos like thinner juices that are lighter in clarity, but provide the best vaping experience I've found in the last two years.

Cartos depend on a good initial saturation for good life and periodic topping off. If I go out, I carry a 3ml sample bottle in my pocket. All I have to do is pop off the drip tip and add a couple of drops every 30 minutes or so during the day. 2 ohm cartos with a 650mah battery or higher and a Boge carto will put you into the sweet spot of vaping, IMO. If you use a VV mod, then 3 ohm Boges at 4.2v or higher is good.

imaxi, after looking at all the reasons that you don't like your Ego-C, it seems that it's not the battery that you dislike but the method you are vaping with or the juices you are using. IMO save your money, and try some different delivery systems at various resistances instead.

I can personally recommend the Boge cartos at 2.0 ohms. These will provide slight more power than your standard 2.2 ohm attys that come with the EGO-C. To me, being a new vaporist I could really tell the difference just from this small change, from the added heat of the vapor. I haven't gone any lower yet, but I believe that they go all the way down to 1.5 ohms.

I can also recommend the EGO Vision Clearomizer. If you prefer a tank system, then this is far better than the standard EGO-C tank system. Unfortunately the LR version is only that of a SR EGO atty. I believe that are other tank systems with lower resistance that you may be interested in but I haven't tried yet.

GFED is on the right track. A new PV may not be necessary as you can use any carto/atty with a 510 connection on an Ego battery. I originally purchased an Ego kit and didn't like the tank system at all, however I switched to LR atty's and drip most of the time. I have also had great success with Boge 2.0 cartos if dripping is a hassle.

If you use the Ego battery and match it with a 1.5 ohm LR atomizer ($5-10ea) or a 2.0 ohm Boge Carto ($1.50-2 ea), it may do the trick for you and you would only be a minimal investment.

I would suggest going with a VV device like the lavatube or maybe even a Provari. Maybe your problem is not with the ego-c, I would think it's maybe with the fixed voltage. VV devices let you adjust voltage to find your sweet spot for a variety of juices. And, get it with a tank setup, it's much nicer than cartos that you have to refill all day if you are a heavy chain-vaper like me...... Just my suggestion, guys.... :)

I would have to say that you might want to try a different combination of cartos/clearomizers and liquid to get to where you want to be, as others have mentioned. I have yet have had any issues with the eGo-C tank system, but it seems that I am in a minority from what I have read around here. Try some LR Boge cartos and some 1.7ohm resurrectors on there or maybe grab some stardusts for the cost of one of the eGo-C atty heads. Most importantly, find a liquid that you really like and that will make you go "Oh, this is what it is supposed to be like!" :vapor:

Check out the provape-1 been using it for a month and I love it!

A Provape1 was my first mod I bought over 2 years ago.. Great little device as a starter, just add some AW 600mah IMR batteries and a Joye 510 Low Resistance atty and your good to go! That is until you get the Provape1 Big Brother....The Provari..
