Advice on possibly upgrading from V2

Hey Goatku!

Welcome to ECF and congratulations for going two years on a V2 kit, that is awesome. It isn't about what you are using it's about what is working for you.

I do hope you will move to a more standardized 510 form factor, it will serve you well over the long term. RubyRoo suggested 2 exceptional kits at vapdojo.com, and I will HIGHLY recommend them for their customer service, they are exceptional. No one is perfect, but they go out of their way to make sure things are right when mistakes are made.

As far as variable voltage, I would urge you to consider it, as it doesn't add much to a kit's cost at all, but is well worth it. Once you have VV and start to see how much better you can make some juices taste, you will understand the joy of it. It isn't hard to figure out, especially once you start playing with it, and it doesn't complicate the vaping experience, but it can enhance it and make it even better.

Good luck in your quest to find new gear, there are a ton of options available, figuring out what will work best for you is the hardest part. I would recommend checking with your local shops to see if they have anything that looks promising. That way, if there happens to be any issues or problems, you can go back in and deal with it directly.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate your reply. I'll get one with variable voltage now that you've explained it. And, I AM upgrading after all. :)

The best thing I can say about V2's is they got me off smokes. I quickly went to an ego style battery, better, then bought a Provari and got into rebuildable atomizers, rba's. Then I started DIY juice and recently stepped into the Mechanical world, and sub ohm builds. There is a progression and a learning curve with vape. An ego would be a step up, but you can easily bypass the ego and go with a regulated pvd. It is mainly what you'd be comfortable with and fits your budget and looks good to you. Research the Variable voltage and wattage devices. If going regulated, would recommend a device that goes up to 6 volts and 15 watts, that will keep you from having to upgrade again for some time if ever.

you vape shop should have some type of ego and/or 510 connection set up. After switching I didn't give my blu a second look. Just my two coppers.

Yeeah, I'm pretty much done with it now. We went to Disneyland recently and one of my chargers stopped working, then one I thought was fully charged got drained somehow. I had to bum an analog off someone at the park... That was it.

Sorry, what do you mean by regulated pvd? I did a quick search and nothing on e-cigs came up. The Ego T is adjustable (3.2 – 4.8v). I do prefer not to upgrade for a long time, but if spending under $100 lasts me another 2 years I will call that a success.

Hi, I'm a new user here as well and I too quit smoking and started vaping with V2's. I moved up (after about 6 months) to The iTaste VV V3.0, with a KangerTech Mini Protank 2. I liked that so much I now have 3 iTaste VV's with a Mini Pro Tank each for 'on the go' vaping and a Itaste MVP 2 with Innoken iClear 30 tanks (2) for all day vaping at home. I'm a pretty happy vaper.
