Requesting information on nicotine test kits. Wanting to test base solutions for NIC strength. How do they work, are they easy to use? Is it necessary to purchase as a kit, or can the testing chemicals be purchased separately?
.... the two threads in the stickies that are just above the closed threads there. They're still active so you can ask questions there. Read all the precautionary note.
The kits are easy to use and include everything you need but you can buy the chemicals Bromothymol Blue and Sulfuric Acid .12N separately if you wish. With the kit you get simple easy to understand instructions on how to use it which is very important to get an accurate reading. You will also need distilled water to rinse out your testing beaker to eliminate any contaminates. You also have to be able to distinguish between the slight differences in yellow to get an accurate reading. I highly recommend a kit. You can get one at Wizard Labs though currently out of stock, ebay or ecigexpress. Probably other places to but those came to mind.
