Can't believe you didn't mention LB Vanilla ice cream, thought it was #1 with ic lovers. Honorable mention for TFA vanilla bean gelato, I can use it low but much prefer the other creams. It's a mouthfeel thing. For one shot ice creams I do very much enjoy VT toffee ice cream and Purilum butter pecan praline ice cream, mouthfeel with both are lovely and rich without coating my teeth and tongue with the custard type of feel.

I mix the LB VIC, VT toffee ice cream, and Purilum butter pecan praline ice cream all together to make one of my favorite base mixes to add other flavors to.

Interesting thread (especially since I need to try some creams) About dragonfruit... boring on it's own, but seems to work with many other fruits. I used to mix custards with fruit, but have shifted towards bakery now (and I tend to like "real" fruit flavors more than "candy"... especially don't like "jolly rancher" sour types) If you want to try something a little different, a bit of Purilum butter mint goes well with some fruits (don't use much... it will overpower everything) Even a bit of lemon can brighten up some fruits (same thing... don't use much) Make very small batches of each flavor (10 ml) at first. Shake them up good right after making. I use a single coil rda for taste testing (any cheap one will be fine) Just re-wick (and dry burn coil) between flavors.
